San Mattia Pizzeria Ristorante Bar In Verona

I've been to many pizzerias in Verona, but I have to say that the vegetarian pizza I had today at San Mattia is one of the best ever! With seasonal vegetables! Well done!

Stunning view, very good pizza, and a picture-perfect location. We hiked up to San Mattia, and it was definitely worth it. The restaurant is located on the Torricelle, in an incredible panoramic position: from the terrace, you can see practically all of Verona lit up, with the Arena in the distance and the surrounding hills. The atmosphere is very pleasant, especially if you manage to snag a table outside with the warm weather just around the corner. One of the best pizzas I've had in Verona lately, nothing like the typical touristy ones in the city center. The service was friendly and attentive despite the restaurant being packed (it was a Saturday night). The waiters were quick and available to offer recommendations. The prices were reasonable for the quality and location: nothing out of the ordinary considering the view and the quality of the ingredients. The only small drawback: parking can be a bit chaotic on weekends if you don't arrive early, but there is free parking nearby. Highly recommended for those looking for a relaxed evening with a breathtaking view and a pizza (or other typical cuisine) that's above average in Verona. We recommend it to anyone passing through Verona! 🌄🍕

Good service, good pizza. The atmosphere is pleasant, but spoiled by the background music, a very annoying reggaeton...

Excellent!!! A wonderful and delicious experience. The products were super fresh, tasty, and light. You could taste the quality. We ordered two pizzas and two delicious desserts, and everything arrived quickly. Many compliments also for the very professional, prompt, and polite/composed service. Nothing to complain about. I go there a couple of times a year, always have pizza, and it's always great. Excellent price for the quality of the products.

A very beautiful location, certainly more charming and enjoyable in the warmer months, thanks to the large outdoor space. The food is good, including the pizza! Good wine list, and the service is okay, although I would have expected a little more attention to detail from the staff, who are otherwise brilliant. A pleasant lunch!

Excellent pizza but in my opinion too expensive, as well as the coffee at €2 and medium beer at €7

Discovered by chance on the recommendation of the owner of the nearby farmhouse where we were staying. We ordered three takeout pizzas: one classic and two "specials." Actually, all three were special, as they were among the best pizzas we've ever eaten.

Great location, and the food and service were excellent. Parking available. Fabulous view overlooking Verona. Prices are reasonable. The pizza was very good and delicious.

I left Munich to eat at this place... and what can I say? It was truly excellent. I would make the trip again just to eat and be served in such a special way. Congratulations guys.

Christmas lunch: beautiful location full of elegant Christmas decorations overlooking Verona, excellent menu, very friendly staff. Absolutely top notch.
