Historic Monferrato restaurant (among the oldest in the area, opened in 1965), it is a place very dear to me. I went there with my family already 45 years ago. Historically run by the Ferrero family, it offers excellent local cuisine in a simple but elegant and refined setting.
During a stay in Piedmont, a visit to the San Marco restaurant is essential. You can go there with your eyes closed.
The food is of extraordinary quality and the service is full of kindness. We feel good there and we are sad when we leave.
I recommend and I will definitely return.

Allerede før vi rakk frem til inngangsdøra, så åpnet en blid servitør og ønsket oss velkommen, varmet godt en kald februar kveld. Inne var bordene dekket med hvite duker og alt var klart for en fin kveld. Og det ble det til gangs. Driverne av stedet kom bort til bordet og hilste på oss og fortalte om stedet. Etter nydelige forretter, begav vi oss ut i en opplevelse av et måltid, bagna cauda, en piemontesisk spesialitet. Vinen som ble anbefalt matched godt og var helt super. Stedet, menneskene, maten, vinen og atmosfæren - helt fabelaktig :)
Excellent service!!!!! We had some truffles from truffle hunting and they kindly washed them for us to eat. Food was amazing. Great experience. Thank you so much for the hospitality!
