San Biagio In Matera

A charming restaurant with a beautiful view. We had lunch and dinner there. It's a family atmosphere and the food is delicious. I recommend it for a romantic dinner 😀😍👍

They welcomed us with delicious bran peppers dipped in pumpkin puree (a typical Lucanian dish). All the food was delicious, from the starter to the dessert. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the staff was very welcoming. The restaurant overlooks the Sassi district for a historic and evocative view, and even the interior had a typical Matera atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the center of Matera!

The San Biagio Restaurant in Matera is a true gem. The elegant and welcoming atmosphere is enhanced by beautiful paintings themed around Matera, creating a unique atmosphere. The view of the Sassi from the outdoor area is simply breathtaking, perfect for an unforgettable dinner. The menu offers refined and delicious dishes. We started with exceptional appetizers: a fresh tuna and squid carpaccio, the typical and flavorful cruschi peppers, and artfully seared tuna on a delicate fava bean puree. For our first course, the risotto was a true delight: creamy, with saffron, shrimp, licorice, and a touch of caviar. Next, fish... the turbot with mashed potatoes was perfectly cooked, light, and flavorful. To round things off, we tried a mille-feuille with Chantilly cream and berries, a dessert that capped off this culinary experience perfectly. The service was incredibly fast, impeccable, and professional, always attentive and courteous. If you're looking for a place to eat well and enjoy a wonderful view of Matera, Ristorante San Biagio is the ideal choice.

Wonderful! A friend who lives in the region recommended it to us, and we loved it. The food was delicious, the wines were good, and the service was excellent. The waiter who served us was super friendly and attentive. And he knows Cádiz very well! Haha, highly recommended! ☺️

The food was amazing, eaten with an exquisite view of Matera. They offered rafined meals that really are worth the price. The atmosphere is great, hearing street musicians playing in the old city. Very nice personel as well. I would really recommend this restaurant.

Buona la location e la vista parziale sui sassi ma il menù è veramente scarno. Poca scelta e piatti mediocri. Prezzi adeguati.

Posto incantevole , incastonato nei sassi di Matera, lo consiglio per cibo , cortesia , professionalità. Se passate da quelle parti Ve lo consiglio.
