Exceptionally good, the best meat restaurant in Bernalda. Very friendly service, excellent kitchen staff, and a very friendly chef. Great food every time, exceptional value. I'll definitely be back. Timmy

A pleasant experience in the center of Matera. A very pleasant atmosphere with exquisite food. A very Matera-style space. Highly recommended. South Americans will be very well served by an Argentine girl who has been in Italy for 17 years. 😊

What’s better than enjoying a lovely meal with the sounds of an accordion lilting through the open window overlooking the Sassi at dusk? I’ll answer: all of the above plus exceptionally friendly, generous, thoughtful, and kind service. The kind that makes you feel like you are truly a valued patron. The whole experience was so memorable for me. If I ever find myself in Matera again, I’ll be back here. PS. Order the cheese and fruit entree; it is divine in both flavour and presentation.

A beautiful restaurant with even more beautiful views of Matera when you walk over to the stairs. Wow! Very nice and attentive staff. The food was great and the menu offered many options. Probably my best meal in Mayera. Reservations are recommended. We were lucky to be there when a musical group marched through.

Sono venuta una giornata in gita con amici ... Posto molto suggestivo con vista sui sassi di matera ...abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti cibo molto buono e personale gentile e cordiale. Lo consiglio

Osteria Belvedere Arrosto alla Brace

18/08/2025: A very positive dining experience. The food was of high-quality flavor and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts. The service was excellent, very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is charming, set in an intimate internal piazza, with climbing vines creating a lovely atmosphere and view. Highly recommended for all tastes and for those who want to sample local dishes.
