The food was excellent (tear-inducing Venere rice, exceptional guinea fowl and a cloud-light apple pie), presented and described impeccably and photographed badly (by me) in a retro atmosphere.

La Capannina

25/02/2026: We had lunch at La Capannina in Verona and were very satisfied. The pasta dishes were excellent: Mediterranean anchovies and paccheri with calamari were truly delicious, with pasta cooked to perfection. The homemade tomato gnocchi for our daughter were also delicious. We finished with a delicious lemon delicacy. Everything was perfect, we'll definitely be back! 🍋
18/02/2026: Nice atmosphere, a well-maintained and clean place. Despite being busy, we were served quickly. The noise level was very low. We tried octopus and squid on a bed of mashed potatoes and a cacio e pepe pizza. Everything was really good. The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We'll gladly return. The price was average.
