Perfect place, better food and excellent service. The only negative point is the location, but if you’re near I’d truely recommend you to come! In addition, a must is the Carbonara Spaghetti.

I was amazed by this place! The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. What surprised me most was their homemade focaccia and cherry wine as a digestive! The pasta with pesto wasn't that great, to be honest.

We tried a lot of things in 5 days in Rome, but this is the best place. The pasta was perfect, with a huge number of flavors. My husband tried capricciosa in Naples and Rome and said that this was the best. Tiramisu, suplime... Excellent. Special respect for the service. I wish them prosperity. We will definitely come back to them again.

This restaurant is one of a few on a small alley. San Lorenzo is definitely off the normal tourist path, but the menu was still in both Italian and English. I started with an Aperol Spritz since it was a million degrees out all day, the AP Spritz was exactly as expected. For an appetizer, I got the anchovy burrata. It was very melty and not seasoned but fine. For bread, I got the focaccia which was definitely a different style than I am used to. Think pizza dough versus fluffy. As a main, I went with the meatballs. They were extremely boring with almost no seasoning and lacking salt. Luckily I had tons of focaccia to mop up all the extra sauce or I would have been sad. The service was pretty standard for Europe, all attention goes away once your main is dropped and you decline dessert/coffee. It was strange that even after the server asked if I was going to pay by card he decided to hang out by the door trying to get customers in versus running the bill. Overall, definitely not a tourist trap and probably a good neighborhood joint. Not worth traveling to but I was staying a few blocks away.
