It's a shame. Based on the reviews and reports, I had imagined something different than what it actually was. The food was served lukewarm. And the spaghetti carbonara was so salty and sour. It's normal for the bacon to be a bit salty, but here the chef had added an extra portion of salt, and the spaghetti was overcooked. The service was friendly and attentive, so I tipped. But things are different in a good Italian restaurant. Here, you select your food using a QR code, and you have to come to the counter to pay. My conclusion is... I'd rather pay a little more, but the overall impression and quality have to be right.

Food took over an hour to come out with no updates on when it would be arriving then when it finally did arrive all the meals came out at a different time. Food was okay, two of the meals were quite nice but the carbonara had far too much pepper in it and it was all you could taste. When the waitress asked if everything was okay with the food I politely mentioned there was too much pepper in the carbonara. Instead of offering a solution or even just apologising the waitress didn't say a word, and then refused to even look our way for the rest of the meal. In short the food is okay but the service is just bizarre.

A delicious dinner!! We tried the pasta carbonara, advertised as the best in town... we were not disappointed!! The staff is lovely and creates a friendly atmosphere. Book online because the restaurant is small and therefore fills up very quickly!
