I visited for lunch, not dinner. The chef's salad was the best! 🤭 Next time, I'd love to come for dinner. The interior, modern yet cozy, and everything from Sadler's signature vermouth were unique and wonderful. Thanks to Mr. Anwar, who greeted me from the start, I was able to enjoy my meal and drink in a truly enjoyable manner. Of all the restaurants I visited during my three-day stay in Milan, Mr. Anwar's service was the best! Excellent👍

Dining at Ristorante Sadler is like rediscovering the elegance of true Italian cuisine, one that dares to innovate while always respecting tradition. In a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, with warm tones and impeccable service, you feel pampered from the first moment. Sadler doesn't need to impress with excess: here, technique, raw ingredients, and a clear vision of the cuisine speak for themselves. We chose the "Creativity and Tradition" tasting menu, a perfect balance between the chef's iconic dishes and new seasonal interpretations. Among the dishes that impressed us most: A masterfully executed Milanese risotto with bone marrow and saffron, enveloping and deep, with a modern twist in the presentation but a pure and intense flavor. A turbot fillet in an olive and aromatic bread crust, cooked to perfection, on a light fennel and citrus cream: clean, elegant flavors, without frills. The dessert, a reinterpretation of deconstructed tiramisu, was a play on textures, balanced and not cloying. A perfect finale. The service was top-notch: attentive, knowledgeable, but with that human touch that makes the experience warm and personal. The wine list is extensive, with a wide selection of Italian wines and a few international labels, with well-researched options by the glass. Compared to other Michelin-starred restaurants, Sadler's stands out for its simplicity and consistency: no flash, just great cuisine, solid technique, and a sensibility developed over decades of experience. It's the ideal place for those seeking a haute cuisine experience without extremes, where every dish tells a story of elegance, gastronomic culture, and passion.

I recently went to the terrace for an aperitivo with a friend, and I must say it was a truly enjoyable experience. The location is stunning, with a view that makes the atmosphere even more special, perfect for relaxing while sipping a drink. The staff was extremely welcoming and professional, but I'd especially like to praise Renzo and Tiziano, who were very kind and helpful, making everyone feel at ease. Andrea, the young man in charge of the kitchen, was truly a point of reference: not only did he passionately and expertly explain each dish to us, but he also showed great attention to detail, making the dining experience even more interesting and satisfying. The dishes were all excellent, with meticulous attention to detail, and the cocktails were made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, which truly enhanced the aperitivo. If you're looking for a place to enjoy good food and cocktails while enjoying a truly breathtaking panoramic view, this restaurant is definitely an excellent choice. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality experience in a welcoming environment with impeccable service. An experience I'll definitely repeat!

A chef who has been at the forefront of Milanese haute cuisine for years, an icon of my city's gastronomic scene, and whom I finally have the opportunity to visit with my wife. The location is beautiful, elegant, but unpretentious, inside the exclusive Casa Baglione hotel, in one of Milan's most chic areas. The service was superb; a single Michelin star is certainly not enough! My passion for wine leads me to pay a more careful attention to the sommelier, and here at Sadler I found him perfect: highly knowledgeable, bold, friendly, and above all—a characteristic few possess—able to listen and, through listening, understand the preferences, tastes, and level of openness that the customer allows him. Each of us is different, so you can't have a standardized approach to customers, and sommelier Mario Ippoliti embodies just that: he puts his knowledge at the service of the customer. So I gave him carte blanche to pair my glasses with each of the courses I ordered. Another plus is the incredibly flexible approach to choosing dishes: an a la carte menu, two tasting menus, and the option to order dishes from the tasting menu only! Hooray. Thank you, chef! After an aperitif featuring a Cremé, a pure Chardonnay from Moret, which accompanied incredibly high-quality and flavorful mousse bouche, my wife ordered a sumptuous appetizer that particularly thrilled her: a lobster tartare, accompanied by a lobster burger and a coconut crab soup. The best of the crustacean family in one dish. For me, my first course was also the highlight of the evening: a garlic chitarrina with spaghetti cooked in nori broth, cooked to perfection and enhanced by a sweetbread and salted lemon ragù. I love sweetbreads, and this version is definitely one of the best I've ever tried. The acidic, citrusy note of the lemon was also fantastic, pairing perfectly with the glass of wine the sommelier paired me with: an Amante dei Venti by Giorgi. A blend of Albarola, Bosco, Vermentino, and other native varieties produced in the Cinque Terre from centuries-old vines and aged in amphora, stainless steel, and wood. Truly deep, marine, citrusy, and with excellent persistence. A perfect and completely unexpected pairing. Equally unexpected, but equally valid, was the glass of Tihany a Balaton 2023, a Hungarian wine from Boko produced on Lake Balaton from Kekfrankos and Zweigelt grapes, which accompanied my pigeon. This dish ranks among the most delicious dishes I've ever tasted using this product, a dish every chef of a certain caliber challenges themselves with... and could Sadler have been any less? Of course not, and the result is worthy of applause: four preparations including prosciutto, hay-roasted breast with Merlot and cherry sauce and hazelnut cream, haunch prepared with hazelnuts, and a sfogliatella stuffed with chicken livers. Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat. Beauty and goodness are also the common threads of the last dish I wanted to include in my menu. Taken directly from the chef's classic tasting menu, I chose his lamb chop stuffed with foie gras and truffle in a bread and almond crust with potato mousse. A truly delicious preparation that, in my opinion, borders on excellence, because it lacked the aroma (almost nonexistent) and the texture of a black truffle of better quality than the one used. I actually asked about the provenance of the underground truffle, which I was told could be from Acqualagna, but this was not confirmed. There is certainly better. Accompanying it was a glass of excellent 2022 Rosso di Montalcino produced by Valdicava. A special mention goes to the value for money: superb! Considering what we ate and drank, the level of service, the excellence of the preparations, and the fact that, alas, in Milan you pay to be in Milan!

My favorite restaurant in Milano. 1* Michelin. Elegant lunch experience, smooth ambiance and music. Fantastic Napoletan ragu. Amazing creme caramele with castagne and matcha. Tried Schioppettino wine - loved it. Best focaccia so far.

We were really disappointed with our visit. A 5 days later and I am struggling to remember what we ate. My wife and I ordered from the al la carte menu. The service was very professional. Unfortunately our experience was instantly forgettable.

The meal here was good overall, but the service really detracted from what should have been a special dining experience. I had mentioned my food intolerances when making the reservation, but the staff seemed oddly dismissive about accommodating them and still brought dishes with ingredients I had specifically asked to avoid. I even had to double-check when they brought me bread because I'd clearly stated no gluten. The waiters had a bit of an attitude throughout the evening that felt unprofessional, especially for a restaurant with a Michelin star. The food itself was well-prepared and enjoyable, but the service issues made it hard to fully appreciate.
