Restaurant: highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We dined at this restaurant one evening during our ski holiday. Even when I made my reservation over the phone, I was struck by the courtesy and gratitude of the person on the other end. The dinner was spectacular. High-quality ingredients. If you truly want to eat typical Val Gardena cuisine, I highly recommend this restaurant. The gnocchi were spectacular, as were the pappardelle with venison ragù, which was also top-notch. But for us, the venison medallions with polenta and sauerkraut were the standout! The portions were definitely more than adequate, even a little generous (but don't change them!!). I absolutely have to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Pietro, who served us impeccably and was incredibly kind and also very, very friendly. We will return to this restaurant every time we return to Selva di Val Gardena. We hope to see you in the summer! Hugs from Rome! ❤️

Our Rusctlea apartment is spacious and comfortable, one of four. Downstairs there’s a great restaurant and there also a good sauna for the use of the apartments (so we usually had it to ourselves). You get to the main ski areas (Nives skilift) by a 10 mins walk along the path that used to be a railway line, which gently climbs. So in the afternoons after skiing you can ski almost the whole way back to Rusctlea. Spa supermarket 3 mins walk at bottom of road has absolutely everything you need and nice quality stuff, fresh counter, great fruit. We flagged a couple of small things to the owners and they dealt with both immediately, we were very impressed by the service. Very happy with everything. Perfect base in this wonderful skiing village close to everything.

Excellent traditional restaurant. No hours of explanation for a tasteless dish, but generous portions that speak volumes about local traditions. Well done. Luckily, there are still people who care about the substance of the flavor.

Restaurant just steps from Piazza Nives, excellent service, good quality/price ratio I discovered it in 2024, and I returned again this year.

We visited the restaurant during the week between July and August. We were satisfied with the service and quality of the food, which was excellent value for money. Recommended!
