Nous avions l'habitude en passant par Arnad, de s'arrêter à la Kiuva. Ce dernier étant complet, nous avons réservé au Rouge et Noir. Bonne pioche, nous avons apprécié le restaurant, bien plus intime et authentique. A la carte, des plats issus de la cuisine valdôtaine. La majeure partie des mets sont faits maison. C'est très bon, bien consistant et les prix sont très corrects. Le service, bienque sympatique, fut un peu long. A refaire sans hésiter.

We know the place very well. The food is divinely good with an Aosta Valley menu and excellent imaginative digressions. Michelangelo crepes, in my opinion the best in the valley. I'm curious about eating raclette. Next time. Fast service, courteous and friendly owner. Good chef, right portions. Seeing is believing. We've been trying for a long time and have always had a good experience. Thank you. Cate and Mario

We took ravioli with berries and spring gnocchi. Superlatives! All first courses are homemade. Abundant and delicious cold cuts platter. The owner explained the various types of cured meats to us and was very kind. Advised!

Questo posto è perfetto per un pranzo/ cena in famiglia o con gli amici! Qualità del cibo e sapori eccellenti! Ci torno spessissimo perché adoro i piatti proposti dallo chef!

Excellent home made food and owners who are kind and helpful towards children, offering games and books to entertain the little ones. We ate very well at honest prices, the only note is that if you want to eat fondue or raclette you must book at least a day in advance.

26/07/2024: In contrast to our restaurant visit in Aosta yesterday, Vecchio is excellent in terms of food, wine, service and ambience. Every euro is worth it. We were thrilled.
21/07/2024: An elegant and intimate restaurant in the old town of Aosta, which is worth a detour. A very personal cuisine through a mystery tasting menu or à la carte. For us, seasonal starters and a delicious pigeon in three courses. A suggested food and wine pairing that highlights Italian red wines and introduces white and curiosities like this dry Tokay grape variety. Excellent dessert

20/07/2024: Very good home cooking, generous doses, the owner very kind and very helpful. We spent 90 euros for 5 people with appetizers, first courses, desserts and coffee! We will definitely be back!
19/07/2024: Homely atmosphere, simple but good food. For the lunch menu, generous portions and modest prices.
