Rosteria Luciano In Bologna

Elegant and slightly retro restaurant, as if time had stopped there, but we liked it for this very reason. Where you find the flavors of the past, the fast and discreet service of attentive staff (thanks to the very kind Carolina who served us), with the scent of grandmother's home cooking. Everything was really good, the fresh handmade pasta, the bill was fair and honest. The external courtyard is cute. Absolutely recommended.

Very well-kept location. They reserved us a very intimate room separate from the other tables where the noise was practically zero and therefore very easy to talk. The menu is good, but the food didn't convince me. Especially the Bolognese cutlet, which was not too tasty, and the potatoes a little hard. The bread however was very good. The dining room staff is very friendly and polite in listening to the customer. Perfect service Prices a little high compared to the quality offered

Tonight, looking for a place to eat, we come across Roateria Luciano. We call, mindful of the last three restaurants which were full, and they confirm a table for 8.30pm. Once at the table, we chat with the waitress and ask her about some dishes. In the end we opted for an appetizer for two, Tosone impancettato (cheese obtained from the external surface of the still fresh wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano, at the moment in which it is corrected, or sheared, in case of any bumps or irregular swellings), which surprised us in positive for crunchiness and flavor. We continue with two first courses, classic tagliatelle with Bolognese ragù and Gramigna sausage and saffron. For the second course we choose the Sangiovese braised beef with mashed potatoes, which proved to be very tender and delicious. We close with an off-menu dessert, a slice of panettone with mascarpone and brittle (to be honest, this dish cost a little too much). Excellent dining experience.

The food was great, but the service was even better. Carolina and Ariadna made us feel at home and made our night extra special.

Whenever I have guests I always come to rosteria Luciano. The food is great, the staff are lovely and it's conveniently and quietly tucked away in the heart of the city. Don't miss the fior di latte dessert!

Un bel ristorante tipico e centrale accanto la struttura dove alloggio solitamente a Bologna, Rosteria Luciano ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Il maitre è un simpatico signore, disponibile, gentile e affabile. I piatti sono genuini e seguono la tradizione. Lo chef, giovane ma preparato. Gentile anche lui. Mi sono stati spiegati i piatti in maniera esaustiva, l’origine povera ma ricca di un antipasto che non conoscevo. Il bollito è, ad oggi, il migliore assaggiato a Bologna. Tenero, saporito con la sua salsa verde eccellente. Il purè gustoso e soffice. Il dolce delizioso e l’accostamento dei vini azzeccato. Tornerò

The staff are truly lovely, kind and friendly! The food is delicious and authentic, it has a quality and details the surpassed all the other restaurants we visited. We will definitely return, thank you! ☺️
