Bologna is a delicious city. The rabbit roll is a breathtakingly fresh surprise! You absolutely must try it. It's a delicacy without any odor. It has a texture somewhere between chicken thigh and pork, and I highly recommend it. You should also try the tortellini. The hot broth itself is superb. This place is great at cooking. And, of course, the service was excellent.

We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant which was located next to our rental unit. The place has been open since the 40s and the quality of their food was incredible. Nice selection of pastas and meat dishes. My boyfriend had the best lasagna of his life and I decided to try the traditional tortellini en brodo (chicken broth, which was so flavorful) and I also enjoyed the rabbit roulade which was divine. Attentive service and nice selection of wines (we enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Nero). Highly recommend this restaurant.

Pranzo squisito. Ho gustato un bollito misto abbondante e cucinato con tutti i crismi. Avrei gradito un pezzettino di cappone o di gallina, ma questa è una minuzia che non scalfisce la perfezione di questa portata. Onore allo chef che fa il bollito anche in estate! Ottimi anche il puré e la salsa verde freschissima. Il fiordilatte a seguire è il vero fiordilatte bolognese, un sapore che mi ha rimandato a ricordi d'infanzia. Anche il caffè è stato molto apprezzato: come dice il titolo, un pranzo perfetto fin nei minimi dettagli. Gentilissimi e super competenti sia la cameriera sia lo chef, che è stato così carino da uscire un attimo dalla cucina per fare due chiacchiere con me.

A beautiful restaurant in the center of Bologna with genuine flavors, high quality ingredients. I enjoyed both the classic pasta and the lasagna and cutlet. The courtesy and competence of the waitress gave that extra touch to the truly beautiful and well-kept place. Definitely worth returning to. The ice cream with black cherries was worth it!

Ristorante davvero eccellente. Atmosfera accogliente, personale preparato e ricerca e cura delle materie prime ne fanno un luogo da visitare una e un'altra volta. I piatti sono ottimi e mescolano alla perfezione peculiarità regionali con spunti innovativi. Lo chef è l'anima del locale, mette tutto se stesso nelle sue pietanze e i risultati si vedono! Da assaggiare assolutamente l'ossobuco.

After a challenging hike through the Marzabotto hills, I found Ca’ Guidotti to be the perfect place for a regenerating break. Lunch was delicious, accompanied by the kindness and stories of the waiters, which made the experience even more authentic. Each dish spoke of local tradition, prepared with fresh ingredients… It's truly fortunate to still find family-friendly and authentic environments like this, where simplicity blends with quality.
01/10/2025: Excellent nettle-based first courses with a tasty ragù. The zuppa inglese (trifle) is also a great dessert!
