A classic, slightly vintage-inspired venue, yet elegant, welcoming, and pleasant. My lunch was limited to a few items, but I found them excellently executed, particularly the balanzoni with parmesan cream. The wine selection is limited, but understandably so, given the wine served by the glass, while the wine list is well-stocked and quite interesting. Attentive service, and friendly, courteous staff.

Trattoria Luciano has a very welcoming entrance with a sign and warm lighting. It feels like you've stepped back in time, and everything is meticulously crafted. The food is out of this world. We had friggione appetizers, various first courses, including passatelli in broth, tortellini in broth, lasagna, etc. The meat-based second courses, such as cotechino with mashed potatoes, and desserts were all delicious. Traditionally cooked, with generous portions. We had a wonderful time and I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat well. Oh, and I forgot, the service is also fantastic; all the staff are cheerful, helpful, and friendly. Definitely worth a try if you haven't already!

I visited after seeing a video by YouTuber Bonape TV. The food was great, of course, but the heartfelt service was also great. If I have the opportunity to come back to Bologna, I would like to visit again for a meal.

A charming and welcoming atmosphere, excellent traditional cuisine, exquisite dishes, and excellent service. The manager offers excellent advice and is very kind and attentive to the needs of her guests. We'll be back!

Lasagne was overcooked (basically mush) when it came out - I should have heeded other reviews which flagged this.
Also ordered the bolognese cotolleta and the potato's came out fridge-cold. Server scraped them onto a side plate and threw them in the microwave and they came back out after we had basically finished eating.
The atmosphere/vibe is definitely a "white table cloth restaurant" but considering the quality of the food AND the price I would definitely consider eating elsewhere if you only have limited time in Bologna/Italy.

We had a wonderful lunch here. The tortellini in brodo was delicious and a must have. The lasagna was good, but we found the lasagna sheets to be a little be overcooked. The flavor was wonderful though. Finally, the braised beef was a truly special dish with great flavor and tender beef that didn’t even require a knife.
The service was exceptional as well. Our waitress realized we were sharing everything so that we can taste as much as possible and she was kind enough to sprite the food onto two plates to make it easier to share. That was extremely thoughtful and kind.
Definitely the best meal we had in Bologna!

Pranzo squisito. Ho gustato un bollito misto abbondante e cucinato con tutti i crismi. Avrei gradito un pezzettino di cappone o di gallina, ma questa è una minuzia che non scalfisce la perfezione di questa portata. Onore allo chef che fa il bollito anche in estate! Ottimi anche il puré e la salsa verde freschissima. Il fiordilatte a seguire è il vero fiordilatte bolognese, un sapore che mi ha rimandato a ricordi d'infanzia. Anche il caffè è stato molto apprezzato: come dice il titolo, un pranzo perfetto fin nei minimi dettagli. Gentilissimi e super competenti sia la cameriera sia lo chef, che è stato così carino da uscire un attimo dalla cucina per fare due chiacchiere con me.
