The food was delicious. The waiters were very pleasant and welcoming. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a very pleasant atmosphere.

Super laid back first night out when arriving in Milan. Staff sorted a table outside for us and made sure we were not rushed although we had a time slot on it. When the food came, multiple staff members checked in on the food. Wine list was nice, and another staff member came over to talk about it. We went home super satisfied and the food was exactly what we were looking for that night. Friendly people. Would go again.

The menu is absolutely breathtaking, not to be missed. A bistro with a creative menu and incredible ingredients. I vividly remember the heavenly cheese and the mixed herb salad, which was also incredible in its simplicity. Congratulations!

The dishes are small, so you have to order at least four and at least two starters, tapas style. However, the prices are not tapas prices but rather comparable to main courses in other regular restaurants. The dishes are good but not exceptional, with small tapas-sized portions. The selection of wines by the glass is limited. For two person we paid about €70. We had 2 appetizers, 2 main courses, bread and water, and 2 glasses of wine.

Rost si distingue per la sua filosofia legata alla sostenibilità e alla valorizzazione degli ingredienti locali, con una particolare attenzione ai tagli meno nobili e alle verdure di stagione. Ogni piatto è un piccolo racconto, curato nei minimi dettagli, dal gusto intenso e originale come il midollo con ciliegie sotto spirito al petto d'anatra con marasciuoli, dal collare di ricciola in salsa teriaky ai tubetti bisque di gamberi e mandorla di Toritto....
Insomma un'esplosione di sapori equilibrati con accostamenti audaci, accompagnati da vini prodotti artigianalmente e che provengono da agricoltura biologica o naturale. Grande scelta tra produttori italiani e francesi!
L’atmosfera è calda e accogliente, il servizio gentile e molto preparato: si percepisce una grande passione dietro ogni scelta, dalla cucina alla sala.
Consigliatissimo per chi cerca un’esperienza gastronomica autentica, diversa dal solito. Ideale la scelta del Menù degustazione da condividere, e che dunque permette di assaggiare più portate senza far lievitare i costi!
