Excellent food and excellent service

The place is very beautiful. Peaceful place. The chairs are not that comfortable. I went to dinner. We chose a margherita pizza, which did not surprise us, and a nizzarda salad, which has tuna among the ingredients. They served it without tuna, and that ingredient had to be claimed. I didn't think it was worth highlighting either.

Staying within the hotel itself and leaving the opera, we were very happy with the restaurant. Delicious and plentiful dishes (we had two starters and two pasta dishes and it was hard to finish everything); service, indeed understaffed for a rush hour, but adorable and bending over backwards to satisfy us despite the rush and ESPECIALLY wines to die for for a ridiculous price. The place is magnificent and quiet (which is rare in Rome). The prices do not seem excessive to me for the quantity and quality. In short, an address to recommend if you are on vacation and have time to enjoy eating and drinking well without rushing.

I landed in that restaurant after seeing a video on Pinterest where a local couple recommended authentic places to eat in Rome. TBH the expectation was high and the reality was mediocre. Lovely place with a sunny patio. Attentive and friendly staff. Affordable prices. But the food was meh, felt like a touristy place after all. Hence the reduced stars.
