Excellent restaurant, highly recommend

A 5-star stay. The owner and hotel staff made us feel right at home, allowing us to spend a pleasant weekend in an enchanting, almost fairytale-like village, just steps from the famous destination of Civita di Bagnoregio. I recommend this property to everyone and thank the staff for their hospitality.

We found this restaurant by chance, but mostly by luck! Lunch was excellent; the dishes we chose (garlic pici and truffle steak) were expertly prepared. The quality/price ratio was also excellent.

Top location, being right in the center and if you're lucky, there's also parking a little further on (but there are about ten, no more!). We didn't stay overnight, but we went to the restaurant for lunch. Generous portions, interesting menu. Maybe they weren't expecting all the people who arrived, being first only two and then three (two in the dining room and one in the kitchen) but we waited a bit too long between the appetizer and the first course, and we were a bit hungry. We had a cutting board as an appetizer that I recommend for two because it's abundant and complete (18€) and a caprese, as first courses we had a carbonara with truffle and a cacio e pepe with pistachio. Too bad for the wait, I would have certainly enjoyed it more but I understand the unexpected. A ten/fifteen minute walk (or 5 by car) takes you to the Belvedere for Civita Bagnoregio.

I did not rate the rooms because I only had the pleasure of having lunch, but if the passion that is put in by the staff is the same as the restaurant, the rooms are also a positive certainty. Everything taken care of in detail, with dishes to lick the plate at the end. Everything very good, with excellent service in an intimate and welcoming context... even my dog ​​Black received attention from an impeccable service. Professionalism, courtesy, friendliness. A thank you therefore to the staff for having made me spend a good time of my holiday and I will not forget as always happens for those, or what, makes me feel good. Nico.
