The porcini mushroom and potato soup was okay, the Zaya Zelle with porcini mushrooms was also okay. The goulash with dumplings tasted like canned goulash, and the dumplings weren't homemade either. The food was returned and wasn't charged. The service was very friendly, which is why it gets five stars, but the food wasn't convincing. We should have been warned, because the menu has a huge selection of dishes, so that can't be good.

A small restaurant in the center of Bolzano. Despite its touristy vocation, the food is good. The service is also friendly. Prices are moderate, and there's a selection of both South Tyrolean and Italian dishes. Seating is available both inside and outside.

A good restaurant in the pedestrian area near the station, with outdoor seating and a varied menu to suit all tastes. We tried the radicchio risotto and mixed fried fish with chips, both good for the price. The restaurant has exposed wooden beams. Very helpful staff.

05/10/2025: This review only applies to the restaurant! We received a warm welcome and enjoyed delicious, regional food. It's in a fantastic location high above Appiano and Bolzano, with views of the Dolomites. The farm has been family-owned for over 200 years.
