The best caponata of the holiday. Lots of unique meats (have you ever eaten kangaroo?) and friendly service. Its proximity to the port also makes it a great place to stop while waiting to board.

My girlfriend and I had dinner here and both ordered pasta - it was homemade and honestly might be the best pasta I’ve ever eaten. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere very pleasant. If we ever come back to Messina, we’ll definitely return!

Buscamos este pequeño restaurante pintoresco para la comida tradicional siciliana que se ofrece. Pedimos la Caponata que venía con panecillos calientes, pasta Norma Sicilia, Funghetto con una ensalada y el Biancomangiare. Todos los platos eran sabrosos con el postre Biancomangiare el verdadero sobresaliente. También teníamos 500 ml de Shiraz rojo local que era fácil de beber. El servicio era muy amable e informativo. El menú está disponible a través de un código QR en la mesa en italiano e inglés. Buena relación calidad-precio, ya que las porciones de servicio eran generosas.

Il locale è piccolo mamolto carino dispone anche di tavoli all aperto Matteo è super gentile e molto disponibile e ti sa consigliare ed accontentare noi abbiamo preso una caponata di zucca 1 porzione divisa in2 enorme di pasta e patate un filetto alla brace con carote e finocchi ed uno scalone piastrato con misto funghi sott olio e insalata mista vino della casa ed acqua lete circa 30 euro a persona a dir il vero pochi per la qualità. La scelta dei piatti è molto ristretta ma la qualità il modo di esser cucinati è l ambiente giustifica tale deficit. Super consigliato

The main courses are absolutely outstanding, from the excellent grilled lamb to the delicious pork, the delicious sausage, and the spectacular Angus steak. Quality, courtesy, and deliciousness. Highly recommended.

06/09/2025: My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised! Each dish is a true culinary experience, prepared with fresh, top-quality ingredients. The dishes combine tradition and creativity, meticulously crafted and presented with meticulous attention to detail. The staff is exceptionally courteous and professional, especially the maître d', who is always smiling and available! A place worth trying!
30/08/2025: This is the best restaurant in Taourmina👌 They deserve a michelin star for their high quality of food, service and atmosphere. The staff is both warm and delicate professional. The elegant yet cosy atmosphere is very unique. You get small dishes inbetween your orders that makes the experience so much more than «just a dinner». You must check this place out!!
