Per i non siciliani, apostrofo e accento cambiano tutto. Ma non la sostanza di un locale gradevole, con tavoli all'aperto e una cucina non banale. In pieno centro e a due passi dalla Stazione, senza essere smaccatamente turistico. Anzi. Personale cordiale. Servizio puntuale

The menu is short, but here it actually means delicious dishes. It's hard to find a decent restaurant in Messina, this one is a bit out of the way, but it may delight you with its flavors. I especially recommend kangaroo meat (!), prepared with caramelized onion, it is a genius. Extremely friendly service and reasonable opening hours - I sincerely recommend it 🥰😋

Wonderful trattoria in the city of Messina. After several weeks getting to know the island and trying several restaurants and trattorias, I have verified that there is good quality of raw materials, cuisine and waiters, and I think that this is possibly the best trattoria I have tried in all of Sicily! From the welcome by the waiter, who explained all the dishes perfectly to us and was attentive at all times, to the portions...everything we ordered was great (congratulations to the cooks). If I return to this city, I have no doubt that I will repeat here!!! Thank you!

Locale molto confortevole,carino,piccolo ma ben servito da persone squisite,educate e rispettose. Zona centrale,poco distante dal Duomo e con pasti molto gustosi, secondo la mia esperienza,ben cucinati ed abbondanti. Complimenti!!

We tried many restaurants during our stay in Sicily and this one was the best by far! They have perfected each of their recipes. The meals were delicious and used very fresh ingredients. Super nice staff too! 10/10

Small but well-kept place. We were very impressed by the kindness of the owner. There is no fish menu but on the other hand they make very particular and abundant meat dishes. Very affordable price because you get 1 starter for 2, a pistacchiotto (saffron rice with pesto and chopped pistachios) 1 alcoholic pasta (wholemeal penne with cherry tomato and nero d'avola) 2 glasses of house wine and 2 coffees (kindly offered by the owner) we only spent €48. We were truly very impressed 🥰 WELL DONE!!!

Osteria Pizzeria Le Tre Vie

10/08/2024: The restaurant "Le Tre Vie" in Taormina offers an exceptional culinary experience. The service is extremely courteous and creates a pleasant atmosphere. The toilets are clean and well maintained, which underlines the positive overall impression. Particularly noteworthy is the parking lot right in front of the door, which makes the visit comfortable. The food is excellent and impresses with both its quality and taste. Plus, the view is breathtaking, which takes the dining experience to a new level. Overall, a recommended address for an unforgettable dinner in Taormina.
27/07/2024: When I'm in the area, this restaurant has been a regular stop for years. Over time I have seen the cuisine improve and the prices have been kept a little below the average for the area. Furthermore, the courtesy of the owners and all the staff is another plus. For example, last night, in addition to the friendly welcome, 15.00 euros were deducted from a bill of 200.00 euros and I was offered a digestive. In the five restaurants in which I had the opportunity to dine in recent days, restaurants of which I have been a customer for years, it was the only one in which I had this privilege. Recommended dishes: mussels au gratin, marinated anchovies, sliced ​​tuna, baked aubergine parmigiana, cheesecake, decomposed cannoli.

Ristorante Atlantis Bay

05/08/2024: We stayed here for 5 wonderful nights in the height of summer as a family of 5. We all loved this hotel - it’s setting is stunning and it overlooks a private bay just along from Taormina beach. The hotel is literally carved out of the cliff face and the corridors of the hotel are hewn out of the rock itself giving it a magical feel. The rooms themselves are rustic but well appointed and pretty and our rooms on the 6th floor had stunning views across the bay from their balconies. The pool and beach area are beautifully kept and designed and we spend many sunny hours by the sea, on the comfortable chairs. The sea by the hotel is calm and crystal clear and you can snorkel around the area and watch the fish on shallow and deeper water. The staff here are all excellent and we felt very much looked after in every area - reception, the restaurants (also excellent, I will write a separate review), the bars and pool/beach area. The cable car to Taormina is close by and the easiest way to visit the town. The hotel can even provide tickets for the cash price. My only issue was the aircon in the room and in the gym. The room aircon can’t quite cope with the heat of the day stored in the rock of the room so it’s slightly too warm in the evening but plenty cool enough by the AM. And the aircon in the gym just can’t cope with the all glass construction so expect your work out to have stunning views but but be pretty hot and sweaty. It’s not cheap in any area but this is a stunning and original hotel with a wonderful staff and views to die for. Highly recommended.
