Ristoro in Campagna In Gubbio

I really liked it, simple and welcoming, the platter was good, the ratatouille and the canapé with pâté were excellent and so was the dessert, the creme brulee with caramelized apples. It's a shame we couldn't try the other delicacies, but we were traveling home to the north and the weather was tyrannical.... See you next time!

If I could give 6 stars, I would. There are few places like these. The selection of typical and local products that the owners offer is incredible. The cuisine is homemade but refined, the dishes are typical of the Umbrian tradition. The quality of the raw materials is exaggerated, as is the kindness and preparation of the staff. Extraordinary dishes also for vegetarians, naturally without meat or fish. Fresh handmade pasta, full-bodied seasonings, excellent quality flours used to mix cakes and bread. Amazing selection of cured meats and cheeses. The place is enchanting, lowkey, simple but refined... you can enjoy a good meal and good wine with cats, peacocks and chickens running free in the garden of the property. I can't find a flaw. Absolutely worth trying, without putting it off... you won't be disappointed!

Nice restaurant in campagna. Beautiful terrace with great view on the Umbrian hills. Nice atmosphere inside. Very helpful and kind staff. Real Umbrian food. Ritormiamo!
