Ristorantino is the right name for this small but welcoming place with a spiral staircase that connects the 2 rooms and the kitchen on several levels. Excellent cuisine with dishes that are good to eat and beautiful to look at. Quick service with friendly and attentive staff. The lady who I almost certainly think is the owner is the highlight of the whole business.

Small restaurant, fair reference to the size of the place. The first contact with the staff is enough to understand the level of care with which it is managed. Friendly approach available, bread with sourdough and breadsticks in a container with heated rice to keep the temperature constant, the aroma and crunchiness. Extensive wine list. Limited dishes, very well prepared, well presented. Compliments to Chef Pietro. Pleasant experience, adequate price. To return.

Provato per la prima volta cercando nel centro di Vercelli un locale che offrisse la panissa. Mission accompished. Ottima cucina, servizio rapido ed attento. Prezzi in fascia media. Particolarmente apprezzata la schiscietta da portare a casa con la panissa avanzata, date le razioni molto abbondanti. Un punto tolto solo perché il locale è in spazi stretti (e d'altra parte è un ristorantino) con i tavoli delle coppie concentati al piano terra un po' sul passaggio. Ci ritorneremo? Si, senza dubbi.

14/12/2024: Una cena presso questo rinomato ristorante di famiglia cittadino e’ un vero percorso di sapori coinvolgenti, in un progressivo concerto di piatti all’insegna di armonie e contrasti. Abbiamo potuto emozionarci con il loro Menù 7*: menzione speciale ai tre risotti preparati per noi tra la ventina di tipologie disponibili in carta. Vercelli è il riso e i Costardi Bros sanno fare onore al protagonista del territorio. Una splendida esperienza di cucina gourmet che ha saputo confermare le nostre aspettative.
11/12/2024: Perfect dinner. Everything perfect from the small initial appetizer to the dessert, with a great balance of high quality raw materials, flavors and colors in between, not to mention the risottos that you are truly spoiled for choice... Impeccable service with Mrs. Cinzia who makes you feel at ease and gives that sense of familiarity, and the friendly and very professional chefs... Wonderful experience absolutely worth going there

I usually ask the name of those who accompany us during this convivial moment, I do it because I like to pay attention to those who have to deal with millions of personalities for work and you don't always come across people with polite manners. This premise is to say that at the Locanda dell'Orso 🐻 there is no need for this attention, everyone was wonderful in their ways, super kind but not forced ways, in short, sincerity in person! ❤️ Sincere like their cuisine, simple but of great quality! We chose the mixed fried food you see in the photo, was it good? No! IT WAS GOOD!!! 🔝 Thank you 🐻, thank you for everything, I would love to come back to you, I would like to move into that dining room and eat your mixed fried food every day!
