We had the most amazing lunch in Palermo, Angela is lovely, the fish was amazing, they treated us like family. We will come back for sure ❤️

A must-visit if you’re in Palermo and want an authentic Sicilian meal. This family-owned restaurant in Palermo serves amazing traditional Sicilian dishes with true heart and hospitality. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The food is outstanding, especially the bruschette with ricci (sea urchin).

Dinners at Spanò are the pinnacle of Palermo cuisine, with some key differences from other restaurants: - Absolutely fresh ingredients. - Incredible knowledge and extreme attention to the properties of the ingredients cooked. - And last but not least, the great courtesy and warmth of the Spanò family who work there—a big heart. Die Wirtin Anna reißt alles heraus - sie ist engagiert und freundlich zugewandt, was man von ihrem männlich Part nicht sagen kann. Vielleicht mag er keine ausländischen Gäste. Die Art, wie er uns bediente, war absolut unfreundlich. Die Küche bevorzugt Meeresfrüchte und das Menü ist sehr reichlich und preiswert. Im Garten sitz man angenehm und hat einen schönen Blick auf historische Gebäude.

Exzellentes Essen mit wundervollem Blick auf den Dom im Abendlicht. 2mal Abend gegessen, einmal Schwertfisch und einmal Dorade. Beidemale wunderbarer Geschmack undhandwerklich hervorragend gekocht. Sehr freundlicher Service. Ein wunderbarer Abschluß eines tollen Tages

16/08/2025: Exceptional restaurant! Osteria Ballaro is definitely worth a visit when in Palermo. I started with the Ballaro Street Food as a starter, followed by the linguine allo zafferano con sarde, a sublime dish that perfectly showcases the Sicilian flavors. The tiramisu was the icing on the cake. A special mention goes to Giovanni, our server, who was fantastic! Not only does he know the menu perfectly and offer valuable advice, but he also gave us excellent tips for exploring the city. A true, passionate professional. The setting is very pleasant: the air-conditioned and bright dining room makes the experience even more enjoyable.

31/05/2025: Yesterday evening I celebrated my graduation in Veterinary Medicine with a pleasant dinner in the company of friends and relatives in this place, what can I say... everything was impeccable! Service, organization, kindness, customer care and quality of food, everything needed to leave a pleasant memory of a convivial moment for such an important milestone! A special applause for the attention given to the celiac person at my table, who was able to taste the same dishes, but adapted for her! Heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you
