Ristorantino da Spanò In Palermo

We had dinner on 12/31. Excellent quality of the dishes ordered. The service was punctual. The environment is nice even if a little cold (I mean internal temperature). What surprised us was the price. We were advised to have a bruschettina with sea urchins (1 portion is 2 bruschettinas which we split). We then split 1 plate of spaghetti with clams. So a Paolotto fish (Pagello) that we divided into 2 (I don't remember the exact weight but it should be almost 1 kg). 2 glasses of local white wine. 1 dessert divided into 2 and 1 coffee. All good except the bill (which was not given to us in detail, but only shown on a piece of paper in which the detail of the individual dishes was missing), 136 euros, which discounted us to 130, honestly given that we were in Palermo , in the Capo market area, I would have expected to spend half or a little more.

If you want to eat fish and other local specialties, it is a restaurant that I recommend. All delicious in a simple and welcoming environment. It is worth trying also because it is outside the tourist circuits

Fuimos a este restaurante por recomendación de unos amigos y nos encantó. Si buscas un lugar donde comer comida Siciliana llena de sabor en cada bocado, tienes que ir a este restaurante. Nosotros pedimos de entrante la Caponata, de segundo unos spaghetti al Ragu, spaghetti con langostinos (riquísimo) y spaghetti a la norma. Realmente estaban muy ricos, lastima fue en nuestra última noche en Palermo, sino repetiriamos de seguro. Si vas de noche, puede que te sientas un poco inseguro caminando por las calles buscando el restaurante, no queda en el área turístico, pero es parte de su encanto. Si te gusta comer en los lugares donde los locales van, pues no dejes de visitarlo. La atención excelente, cero quejas.

The Grilled fish of the day was super fresh and excellent. The service was wonderful and I cant understand why the ratings are not a lot higher for this unpretentious but excellent restaurant.Price was very fair. I would certainly come back.

Family-run restaurant with simple cuisine and fresh products. Welcoming and super helpful staff... you feel at home! Value for money…I highly recommend! I'll be back again!

Prawn cocktail at 15 euros with 3 prawns would be expensive even in Milan. The roasted squid was excellent but the portions, given the prices, are small.

Very nice and kind owners, the food is very good, the place is in a quiet spot.
