Full marks for the quality of the food, the presentation, and the friendliness of the chef, who attentively and without being intrusive gave us advice. We had a pleasant afternoon.

We stopped for lunch on a Sunday. The staff were friendly and helpful, welcoming us even though we hadn't booked. We had a very good appetizer and a truly excellent main course. The price was adequate for the quality offered and still reasonable in absolute terms. The restaurant is located in the narrow streets of a small medieval village, but it still has ample and convenient parking. The premises are spacious and well-maintained.

Locanda Gavarini is a trusted source of quality and exquisite cuisine, from traditional appetizers to a selection of cured meats, from Chicchere della Nonna (Grandma's Chicchere) to the unsurpassed Parma Black Pork with potatoes and chestnuts, and from the ever-changing and spectacular desserts. The carefully restored and carefully maintained ambience complements the experience, along with the impeccable and courteous service. Prices are more than reasonable.

This is how I imagine paradise! Imagine an August afternoon, an inn surrounded by greenery with a beautiful, spacious pool hidden behind hedges, the sound of the water and the wind rustling the leaves. Add a restaurant with a varied menu that pleases all palates and the kindness of the owners... come on, are you still there or are you packing your bags?

We tried the restaurant, a lovely country-chic location with well-presented, excellent-quality food. Highly recommended. Prices aren't cheap, but they're not particularly high either, considering it's listed in Michelin guides.

Very nice and well-kept place, excellent cuisine, beautiful village, the only flaw is the coldness of the owners... what a shame!!

Posto ideale per trascorrere una serata romantica o in compagnia di amici e staccare completamente dallo stress. Già entrando nel grande giardino con piscina , si viene accolti dal buon gusto della disposizione degli spazi. Ogni singola portata è una delizia per il palato , data sicuramente dalla qualità delle materie prime, ma soprattutto dalla mano del cuoco, una cucina raffinata e gustosa che non ha lasciato nessun retrogusto di soffritto o intingoli. Consiglio assolutamente l' antipasto misto, abbondante e qualitativamente ottimo, che presenta tutte le tipiche specialità locali, calde e fredde. I primi, ravioli di burrata o gnocchetti verdi erano tra i migliori che abbia mai mangiato. I dolci non sono da meno, avrei mangiato ancora, ma eravamo completamente sazi. Il prezzo assolutamente onesto, quindi torneremo sicuramente, ma la prossima volta ci fermeremo anche a pernottare, dal momento che sono accetti anche gli animali domestici. Vacanza perfetta!
