We stopped for lunch on a Sunday. The staff were friendly and helpful, welcoming us even though we hadn't booked. We had a very good appetizer and a truly excellent main course. The price was adequate for the quality offered and still reasonable in absolute terms. The restaurant is located in the narrow streets of a small medieval village, but it still has ample and convenient parking. The premises are spacious and well-maintained.

Locanda Gavarini is a trusted source of quality and exquisite cuisine, from traditional appetizers to a selection of cured meats, from Chicchere della Nonna (Grandma's Chicchere) to the unsurpassed Parma Black Pork with potatoes and chestnuts, and from the ever-changing and spectacular desserts. The carefully restored and carefully maintained ambience complements the experience, along with the impeccable and courteous service. Prices are more than reasonable.

03/01/2026: Welcoming place, great hospitality. We called late for lunch on a holiday Saturday, and despite the restaurant being packed, they reserved a quiet table for us and provided excellent service. Traditional, quality food, generous portions. Excellent value. Thanks to Lucilla and Norma for their kindness. We'll definitely be back to try the asado this summer!
