After a tour of the Amalfi Coast, our tour guides brought us here for one of the best meals we had in the Sorrento area. The fresh farm to table ingredients made the entire meal outstanding. The service by the owner and his staff made the experience event that mush better. This is a place that should not be missed.

Stumbled across this place by following a sign en route into sorrento. We pulled up in the car park & questioned whether the place was open or not. Very unassuming. However, we got inside and we were met with a great welcome, superb view and nice looking place. We had a variety of dishes including what was described as a ‘crazy pizza’ loaded with endless toppings, A vegetarian pasta dish and mixed meat grill. All was first class. Nice experience that I’d repeat in a heartbeat 👍🏻

04/04/2024: Very tasty food (good portions!) at fair prices, good wine selection, nice service, view of the sea.
13/03/2024: My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here on our honeymoon and was the best for we've had so far. We had a 2 course meal with different pasta to start and a steak to share which was just as good as the pasta. Much like someone else, we were the only ones there the entire time we were which was both very weird but also a bit romantic and extra personal. Well worth the visit we both think!

The place is welcoming and the staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is rustic and traditional, with the walls decorated with works of art depicting scenes of Neapolitan life. But the real star of Benvenuti al Sud is the pizza. The dough is light and soft, with perfect alveolation. The cooking is excellent, with the crust being thin and crunchy at the right point. The dressing is fresh and high quality, with simple but expertly combined ingredients. I had the opportunity to try several pizzas but my favorite was the Pizza alla Genovese nel rutiello. In addition to pizza, Benvenuti al Sud also offers other typical Neapolitan dishes, such as pasta with meat sauce, aubergine parmigiana and rice arancini. The prices are honest and in line with the quality of the food. Tip: If you are looking for a pizzeria in Secondigliano where you can enjoy a truly excellent Neapolitan pizza, Benvenuti al Sud is the right place for you.
