08/03/2026: Despite the slightly dated atmosphere, everything feels welcoming and makes you feel at home. The welcome is warm and professional, almost obsequious. The overall impression is elegant and refined, yet genuine and unpretentious. I only tried the grilled lamb and the tiramisu, but both were excellent in both quality and quantity. The prices are average.
06/03/2026: I used to come here when I was a student in Rome in the late 70s to early 80s. It is still the same family that owns and runs the restaurant. In fact, I spoke with one of the same waiters who was here at that time, as well as Vincenzo's daughter. Signor Vincenzo himself is still usually here. The food is genuine and just as good as it was at that time. Not a tourist in sight. If you want to experience a true Roman trattoria, take the 15 minute walk from Termini to find this place. But don't tell too many people, or the secret with be out! I had the Buccatini all' Amatriciana, Saltimbocca alla Romana, and torta di nocciole (home made hazel nut cake with whipped cream). All perfectly prepared.
