One vegan option for main course: soup with chickpeas, spelt and mushrooms. It was very tasty though. No vegan dessert options. The waiter was very friendly and sorry about the lack of vegan options. My friends' primi piatti meals were also tasty, although the portion sizes were quite small.

This place is a real gem! The owner is very friendly and attentive and the food was worthy of a Michelin recommendation in our opinion - Top notch presentation, fresh and creative dishes (the pear pasta dish is a must!) and all at very reasonable prices. Do yourself a favour and visit this true Italian treat!

Perfect dinner with excellent service and hospitality. I will dream of the pear and cheese pasta I had here, it was so good! And my dessert was a lemon cake made from local lemons- best I’ve ever had. If I’m ever back in Monterosso this will be my first stop.

My partner and I had a fantastic meal here - genuinely some of the best food we’ve had in a long time and certainly our favourite meal during our stay in Cinque Terre. This is owned by a husband and wife - the lovely (and charming) husband was our server whilst his wife was our very talented chef. It was great service - very attentive, and fantastic food that suited both a vegetarian and meat-eater! We would definitely come back

Out of our 12 days in Italy, this restaurant was the best. The sautéed mushroom appetizer was fantastic. I had the Burrata Ravioli which was so amazing, I ordered a second plate to share. The Pear and Pecorino cheese stuffed pasta was also a hit. This restaurant was off a side street and was nice and quiet with a great view down the alley to the sea. Great service, home made pasta and fresh caught fish made this joint the jam. I just can’t believe these negative reviews with the consistent home runs we ordered.

The pesto pasta is life changing! The pear pasta was incredible I can’t wait to go back and order more. The service was amazing as well.

This place is off the main street but a hidden gem. We stumbled upon it when we couldn’t get into the place we wanted to originally and it turned out to be one of the best meals we ever had in Italy. We had the pear ravioli and burrata ravioli and started with the cheese plate and ended with the Monterosso cake. All was superb. The waiter/owner is so kind and helpful when ordering and him and his wife cook everything fresh. I would highly recommend a meal here it was delish!!

The waiter who attended to us was amazing. His enthusiasm and wonderful description of the food was super accurate and helpful. :) the fish ravioli was nice and the montarosso cake was amazing! My husband had the tartufo ravioli and it was real good too.

10/08/2024: Sono stato in questo posto due volte, a Luglio e poi ad Agosto 2024. Qui su Tripadvisor si leggono molti commenti negativi, ma c'è stato un cambio di gestione, per cui vi consiglio di affidarvi alle recensioni più recenti (del 2024). Per le due volte in cui sono andato, mi sono trovato molto bene. Si mangiano piatti (di mare) molto buoni, i prezzi sono onesti, l'atmosfera è molto tranquilla e il personale è molto cordiale. Lo consiglio vivamente
25/07/2024: We enjoyed a very tasty dinner at La Taverna. We had the filet with porcini and a very well filed seafood pasta. Sweet staff.

07/11/2024: I'm sorry it was a place where we liked to go, but this time a disappointment. The panigacci looked like rubber, the cured meats were passable and the pizzas still had yeast.
