Without a doubt, one of the most pleasant places in town to spend a wonderful evening enjoying excellent cuisine. It's a shame the experience was marred by the attitude of some of the staff. I've rarely encountered such an unwelcoming reception while traveling. Admittedly, it was peak tourist season and the restaurant was full, but that doesn't excuse the feeling of being treated more like a tourist looking to spend money than a customer simply wanting to enjoy a pleasant time with family. My recommendation: go without hesitation for the quality of the setting and the food. However, if the restaurant is full, keep in mind that the quality of service may unfortunately suffer.

We had a quick and good meal there in the early afternoon. The seating area by the harbor is nice. Service and food were fine!

Delicious pizza, incredible crust, one of the best I've had in Italy this week. Generous salads. Magnificent lake view. Only downside: a bit pricey at €3.50 per person on top of the listed prices.

A restaurant with a lovely terrace and excellent value for money; the pizzas are generous and delicious. The service is efficient and well-timed. A perfect spot for an evening on Lake Orta.

The location is undoubtedly the highlight of this restaurant. If you're lucky enough to get a table overlooking the lake, the setting is absolutely beautiful and makes for a very enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant itself is spacious, nice, and well maintained. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the stunning location, especially considering the prices. The cured meat and cheese platter was probably our favorite dish of the meal, with good-quality ingredients and generous portions. The linguine with lobster, however, were disappointing. The sauce was too loose, the pasta felt slightly dry, and overall the dish lacked the rich flavor I was expecting. The ravioli in cream sauce also fell short, tasting much milder and less indulgent than anticipated. Another downside was the service timing. After finishing our starter, we had to wait a very long time before our main courses arrived, which took away from the overall experience. Overall, this is a restaurant worth visiting for its spectacular lakeside setting, but we left feeling that the food didn't quite live up to Italian standards.

If you want to eat in Orta first and foremost, good food!

Fantastic pizza with a lake view. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza, even though I had come for fish. The 48-hour slow rising process makes it incredibly light and easy to finish. I was also pleasantly surprised by the truly excellent quality ingredients! The charcuterie board was also very well-curated. The rich and flavorful salad was also fantastic. The staff was friendly and available to accommodate any additional requests.
