We celebrated our anniversary, and like every year, we do it with an experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant. Our experience at this magnificent restaurant was truly positive because, in addition to the delicious food, we found a welcoming atmosphere and, what's not to be expected, truly competent and friendly staff, which in my opinion makes the difference at these places. The very kind chef came out to greet us personally and chat. A top-notch experience.

If you're in the area, you should definitely eat there! It starts with the wonderful view of Lake Garda, with the charming and attentive service. This was followed by deliciously seasoned and beautifully presented dishes, mainly fish, but also a vegetable course and, to finish, a poultry course. Then there's dessert, two different ones, to eat together if you like. One fruity and one very chocolatey, so good! We had a wonderful time and went home completely satisfied and happy.

I can recommend this restaurant to anyone willing to pay the price for sophisticated craftsmanship. We had the full 10 courses with wine pairing, some very pleasant surprises, and outstanding service. We even had a quick chat with the funny and very creative chef. You can tell he understands his craft and knows how to use it. It's truly impressive.

We had the pleasure of experiencing Leandro and his team yesterday – fantastic! We were excited about the many positive reviews – and our expectations were exceeded. A kitchen that offers traditional dishes with so much creativity, surprise, and excellent taste is unparalleled – all without any "molecular frills." Added to that is an atmosphere that blends "Welcome to us" with "Let us pamper you" – wonderful. The ambiance is modern and classic with plenty of taste and, of course, a stunning view. For us, it was a magical evening that we will remember for a long time – see you next time – thank you and a thousand graces.

An evening at Ristorante Vecchia Malcesine is an experience for all the senses. Upon entering, you are greeted by breathtaking views over Lake Garda and the old town of Malcesine – a setting that is hard to beat. The service is warm, professional, and perfectly trained from the very first moment. We were particularly impressed by the sommelier, who expertly selected an excellent wine pairing for the menu – every bottle a winner. The cuisine? Italian classics, subtly reinterpreted. Creative, high-quality, and prepared with artisanal precision. Even if one or two dishes didn't quite suit my personal taste, the quality was consistently excellent. The chef knows how to play with flavors and surprise without losing sight of the roots of Italian cuisine. A perfect place for a romantic evening for two – with great service, a sommelier who knows her craft, and a kitchen that proudly wears its Michelin star.

Booked here as a solo traveller staying in Malcesine for 2 nights. Opted for the 10 course Qcina menu. I wasn't drinking alcohol so the lovely hostess prepared a large glass of a refreshing fruit based drink. Every course was art on a plate and tasted exquisite. There were items I had not tasted before but had every faith in the chef that they would be beautiful. That faith was repaid with wonderful flavours and textures. The bread selection provided with the anchovy butter was again outstanding. The ladies serving made the whole evening an event by explaining all courses and making the experience memorable. They are a credit to the restaurant. The setting, slightly up hill overlooking the lake, perfectly completed what was a memorable evening. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful restaurant to experience some of the finest food you will find. You will not be disappointed.

En udenærket oplevelse, men maden levede ikke oppe til forventningerne eller prisen. Som andre har beskrevet, uproportionelt tunge saucer der fylder og overskygger rettens formål. Fisk der burde være smør mørt var tørt og ligeledes kødet i bau bollen. Vi har spist på over 30 europæriske Michelin restauranter og de kommer desværre til kortet her. Servicen var god, og venlig. Chefen fyldte dog meget i rummet og talte meget højlydt med andre gæster 20-30 min af gangen. Der var for varmt i rummet og ingen aircondition eller åbne vinduer. Det er svært at nyde mange retter i den varme desværre. Vi kommer ikke igen :-)
