Fabulous food,served with a touch of 🎭, very appropriate for setting so near the opera house.... The vengole was perfect, the beef to die for and king prawns in bas Armagnac superb. Great selection of wines... highly recommend

What an amazing not so secret restaurant this is. Not only is the food excellent & very attentive and friendly service but wonderful entertainment is provided by the owner and guest singers performing short excerpts from various operas. That came as quite a surprise. So much so we returned for a 2nd night of the 4 we had in Verona. Well done to all involved.

Elegant environment, operatic music in the background but not annoying, we ate gnocchi, creamed cod, bean soup with maltagliati, veal cheek, desserts, wine, all excellent, well balanced and well cooked. Obviously prices accordingly, but everything was worth it

Abbiamo cenato sabato sera nel ristorante a pochi metri dall'Arena, che si vede uscendo dalla porta. Un'ambiente carino, quasi fermo nel tempo, in sottofondo le canzoni di Pavarotti. Sui muri della scala per scendere in bagno ci sono le foto dei personaggi famosi che hanno visitato il locale. Abbiamo mangiato filetto di ombrina e guancialino di vitello. Piatti presentati in maniera eccellente e gustosi. Prezzo giusto per la qualità e per il tipo di locale. Ci hanno anche offerto dei dolcetti fatti da loro.

16/12/2024: Scelto per una cena natalizia tra colleghi, per la prima volta ho visto i piatti delle pizze completamenti vuoti, nemmeno un pezzetto di cornicione e c'è chi ha fatto il bis. Ottima la pizza con impasto senza glutine, gentilissima la ragazza che prendeva le ordinazioni.
21/09/2024: Llegamos tarde a nuestro hotel en Verona y le pedimos a nuestro conserje que recomendara un restaurante de pizza. Mientras caminábamos en Impero me recordó a un café de alta gama. Algunos lugareños elegantemente vestidos, supongo, estaban cenando en la mesa frente a nosotros - siempre una buena señal imo. Pedimos una botella de Valpolicella a un precio razonable, por supuesto y algunas pizzas de un camarero muy amable. Cuando llegaron las pizzas, literalmente dije: "¿Por qué no podemos hacer pizzas tan buenas en el Reino Unido? " La base era casi delgada y crujiente y sabían genial. Una ronda sobre lo siguiente que dije fue "esta Valpolicella es muy buena. Nos habría costado más de 40 libras esterlinas de una tienda de vinos en el Reino Unido". Debo mejorar mis habilidades de conversación. Huelga decir que estábamos más que satisfechos con la experiencia. Sin duda recomendaría.

02/09/2024: Nice little hotel right on the lake and a few minutes walk to Lazise!! Pool area and beach bar loungers and parasols on the lake can be used free of charge!! The facility from the campsite is 100 m away! Room nice and clean with balcony and lake view! Staff friendly especially the waiter!!! The only criticism is that breakfast (included in the price/booking) is only available from 8:30 a.m.! So bring a coffee machine! No fridge in the room! We had a cool box with us that we also took with us in the car! What's not possible is that all guests at breakfast only get 1 coffee and you have to pay for every additional one!! So 2 coffees would be recommended! But we'll be back next year! Location is great!
