It was a very pleasant discovery. Identified well in advance on the internet, I can only confirm how good things were said. Professional but above all staff with a unique kindness and finesse welcomed us politely, making us feel at ease straight away. He advised us on the best and in the end honored us by celebrating our wedding anniversary with us complete with a candle on the cake. Thanks for everything. P.S. the dishes are poetry and art together.

Delicious food and very high quality, excellent quality-price compromise, not to mention the impeccable service. I would like to mention the waiter Domenico who was super helpful and efficient, as well as extremely kind!

We stayed for dinner two evenings, lovely place, very kind and perfectly organized staff. We tasted practically half the menu including first courses, meats and side dishes and we didn't find anything we didn't like... Delicious pappardelle with wild boar ragù, perfect ravioli with ricotta, game starter, abundant lamb, excellent potatoes, not to mention the porcini mushrooms roast.... we noticed the clear difference with other restaurants in Pescocostanzo both for the unparalleled quality/price and the attention to the customer. Saturday evening we went to dinner at "I tre frati" in Pescocostanzo. The place is nice, well furnished and welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience was not entirely positive.
The waiters, young guys, seemed a little confused. They brought us the wrong wine and didn't apologize. When they opened the right bottle, they left it on the table without pouring it, saying they had to leave for a call.
The first courses were the best part of the dinner. The homemade pasta was really good and plentiful. We enjoyed these dishes.
The main problem was with the seconds. We ordered a mixed roast. The lamb chop was pretty much bone-in, both on my plate and on my wife's. The pork steak was poorly cooked: raw on one side and cooked on the other. When I pointed this out to the owner, he told me I should have mentioned it sooner. But how could I, if the meat was cut irregularly?
It's a shame, because the place has potential. But they need to improve the service and the quality of the second courses. Especially the meat, which should be the strong point of a mountain restaurant in Abruzzo.

Abbiamo gustato in questo ristorante un ottimo agnello e degli ottimi arrosticini alla brace, nonché una golosissima scamorza alla brace con tartufo. Ci ha deluso invece il cervo. Mi riprometto di tornare e di assaggiare altre pietanze.
La sala del refettorio è bella e suggestiva; il servizio cortese; buona la carta dei vini.

Sono venuta in questo ristorante con mio marito e la mia cagnolina.
Dopo una lunga attesa siamo finalmente riusciti ad ordinare.
Abbiamo quindi chiesto un antipasto della casa (14€) e ci è stato chiesto se avremmo gradito un assaggino di formaggi, cui abbiamo detto di sì.
Ci è stato quindi portato un vassoio praticamente vuoto con sopra 5 pezzetti di formaggio grossi un cm, ma in effetti era un assaggio no?
Ebbene no, nel conto sono costato più dei salumi! (15)
I salumi peraltro non erano nulla di che, dimenticabili.
Come primo abbiamo preso una chitarra verde con tartufo estivo, insapore, insipida, veramente poco gradevole (18€)
Molto buone invece le pappardelle porcini e tartufo, che di tartufo avevano sapore zero, ma erano comunque saporite ed erano ben condite (18€)
A seguire abbiamo preso due porzioni di arrosticini, 11 pezzi 10€, veramente ottimi, morbidi,, succosi e cotti alla perfezione e per contorno porcini trifolati (7€ a piatto).
Per chiudere un piccolo tiramisù e un ottimo croccantini con chantilly e fragole.
Con coperto (2.5€ a testa), acqua alla spina (2.5€), vino (13€), abbiamo pagato 130€ in due, onestamente troppo per la qualità e quantità di cio che abbiamo ordinato.
Non lo consiglio né ci tornerei.
