Ristorante Tre Camini In Costermano

We have been to Tre Camini several times in recent years but today we were totally surprised and satisfied. There wasn't much going on, we made a reservation at 7 p.m. Friendly welcome from the boss and offer to have a small aperitif in the beautiful garden until the table is ready, then go to the table and place your order. Very friendly service staff (both women) German English and Italian were spoken, starter was received after about 15 minutes, great for everyone at the table, super well prepared, main course was served just right after about 30 to 40 minutes, again everyone at the table received theirs Meals and special requests are perfect. Dessert was of course also consumed and was also great. We would like to praise the Tre Camini team and the bosses for the positive change. Things have been a little different in the last few years, but this year everything was really perfect and that is my opinion as a restaurateur after 35 years of running my own restaurants. Congratulations, it's been many years since I returned to the 3 Camini. Upon entering, good memories came back, the place looked very good. The cuisine was good then, but now I found it even better. Fair prices, excellent quality and taste. A place to recommend and return to.

The ambience and location of the venue were exceptional. The food was tasty, but the portions were tiny and not for people who are very hungry. However, the service was particularly negative. The waiters were anything but friendly and attentive. You didn't feel welcome there. I can therefore not recommend the restaurant overall.

A real insider tip that is somewhat hidden. We remembered it from our last vacation and were once again completely thrilled. The service is polite and child-friendly, although we only speak fragmented Italian and little English is spoken here. The outside courtyard is wonderfully quiet and shady. The food, whether it was a starter, main course or dessert, was excellent and couldn't have been better. Definitely recommended are the fried porcini mushrooms as well as the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and the sirloin of beef. No matter what you had before, dessert is a must here with the large selection of homemade ones! The panna cotta alone is a dream. Only after dinner did we discover the small playground in the back garden, which was of course perfect for our daughter. We will come back in any case!
