I stumbled upon it by chance and without a reservation, right in the middle of a packed lunch.
They welcomed me without any problems, and since I just wanted a quick bite to eat before heading out, they were very quick in taking my order and serving it.
I had a herb-filled steak; it was perfectly cooked, well-flavored with the herbs, and a good portion. However, I felt the quality of the meat wasn't top-notch, as it was a bit tough and took a lot of chewing, despite being perfectly cooked.
Alongside, I had roast potatoes, also a good portion, perfectly cooked and very, very good.
On a positive note, the bread was good, and so was the oil they serve, which was really good quality.
Looking at the tables nearby, I realized that, when the place is full, the service can be a bit slow and distracted, but oh well, you have to relax at the table!
Furthermore, reading their menu and philosophy, as well as seeing the dishes, I think their strong points are the appetizers and especially the first courses; all homemade. Even the "cooked" second courses are probably better than the grilled ones.
Definitely a place worth saving and returning to when you're in the area.
The prices are fair, on average, lower than many others in the area.

Typical meat and fish restaurant with good, average prices. The parking lot is small and hard to find when coming from Colle Val d'Elsa.

Excellent restaurant on top of the hill. My girlfriend and I came here on the recommendation of Adele and Barbara from Land Before Time.
The place immediately feels welcoming, with bright colors and soft music. We were greeted by a young, friendly, professional, and polite waitress.
We started with a mixed appetizer (excellent value for money). I recommend the crostini, especially the chicken liver one (special). Next, we tried a first course, a second course of the day, and two side dishes.
You can taste the quality and quality of the products used. A true gem in the Tuscan hills.

Thanks to Filippo, our host for his kind and friendly chat and for his recommendations about area. We tried Ossobuco and Tagliata with porcini mushroom. Both were delicious and highly recommended. The vegetable tart as starter and tiramisu were very delicious as well. Thanks for beautiful dinner and hospitality. :)
