Fantastic food with unbelievable views. Paulo is a wonderful host. The value of the food is simply amazing giving the stunning quality. Simply sensational.

Tonino catered our wedding and did the most incredible job. Our wedding day aperitivo spread was immaculate; we selected stuffed pistachio pasta, pici, and chianina beef for our mains; and pistachio cake and a gelato cart for dessert. For our day after brunch Tonino provided a traditional Tuscan barbecue. Everything was truly delicious, they provided extra portions of everything on top of the already generous portions, and all the meat was cooked to perfection (medium rare!) We’re quite particular and felt so taken care of by Tonino’s team. I would highly recommend having them cater your tuscan wedding.

Having stayed at the San Luca hotel, we dined at this restaurant for two evenings and it was an excellent choice. Excellent food and impeccable service. Obviously the view of the Val di Chiana adds its own and the whole thing was an excellent setting for the evenings.

Reading the reviews I came to this restaurant with few expectations... but as you know I have no prejudices unless I touch it first... panoramic terrace...... elegant furnishings friendly service... the pici alla Tonino were a pleasant surprise... even if a little too spicy for me they were very good mixed to perfection... the platter of cured meats just right delicious... as well as the platter of cheeses sublime... excellent wine list... I didn't like the warm heart cake... in my opinion passed and overcooked.... the prices are average

Very nice view, very nice service, vary good food and very unpleasant restaurant manager. I've been in this restaurant last year and liked it a lot due to the wonderful view. So this year, visiting Cortona again, I wanted to come back and knew exactly where I wanted to be seated. During table reservation, I've specified where I wanted us to be seated (right by the fence to have a better view) which was well understood and noted in the reservation book. However when we got to the restaurant, the unpleasant manager refused to let us sit at the table we reserved, claiming it was reserved by someone else a month in advance. He refused to check the note left in the reservation book and made us sit right in front of the table I've booked. Those mystweious clients never came and the table remained empty for the rest of the evening. Long story short: great place except but unpleasant manager

Paolo elevated a fantastic dining experience to extraordinary with attentiveness, professionalism and excellent recommendations. The food was fabulous, and particularly encourage having the shared platter as a starter. The grape jam is divine! Great menu options, stunning views and beautiful atmosphere combine to deliver a dining experience to remember.
