A wonderful experience. Great, perfectly prepared cuisine and very nice service. A very flexible approach to the tasting menu. Perfectly paired wines. Perfect luxury accessories. Beautiful and refined decor. And when you ask for a selection of cheeses, you get cheeses made by a world champion cheese maker.

Fine dining in the Dolomites. Splendid location in the center of Dobbiaco near the former Grand Hotel structure. Small architectural complex of charm and modern design, expressed in a glass cube with a practically 360 degree view. Four tables, managed with care, passion and dedication to the guest. Attentive and present service, but never intrusive. At the entrance to the restaurant and on the menu header, precise indications/requests regarding the non-use of smartphones for photos, videos and phone calls in all environments. All as part of a philosophy of respect between diners and the creation of an elegant and soft, yet not plastered, climate of conviviality. Menu that varies very frequently, based on the chef's creativity. Raw materials with a choice of choice on km0 and local products, assembled with a mix of flavours, temperatures and consistencies that are always balanced, non-trivial, refined but not extreme and inspired to trigger the constant awareness that the gastronomic story that is proposed to you is true and fruitful of the skilled hand of the chef, never artificial or with ingredients positioned out of logic or for a mere wow effect. A very rich local wine list, with great names and depths of vintages in the Alto Adige selection. Obviously the main international terroirs are also represented, from Champagne to Burgundy, from Bordeaux to the Rhone, from Super Tuscany to the Langhe. Here, however, the research is not so intense, nor very transversal. There are excellent bottles to be found, but in general the choice is a bit subdued and there is little wink at the new trends in low-intervention wine production, shared by more and more vignerons on a global scale. This can represent a plus for many, as they move within a traditional comfort zone. In my opinion, a little more courage in giving space in the paper to small production companies that work in a more modernist and non-interventionist way could make that final leap in quality aimed at excellence. Overall, an experience worth living, and certainly reliving. Nice project, well done.

To put it in a reduced (simplified) way, the chef's name matches the food...the enjoyment is a☝🏻"Oberhammer" 👌🏻😋😋😋👌🏻. Mille mille grazie 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 capo, also for the personal invitation to your kingdom. We'll definitely see each other again...that's a promise and a "threat" at the same time.

Eccezionale. Non ci sono altri termini per descrivere l’altissima cucina di questo ristorante ed anche l’attenzione (accoglienza, ospitalità, professionalita) rivolte ad ogni cliente. Non si capisce perché non abbiano già almeno la seconda stella Michelin. Iper-consigliato: andateci, e sarete nell’Olimpo della buona cucina DI SOSTANZA.

The chef uses local products and flavors from this mountainous region, and the sommelier offers wines from local producers that pair perfectly with the dishes. This restaurant is unpretentious and the result of an artistic approach by enthusiasts which demonstrates the love of this magnificent region.

This was, without question, the best meal I have ever had. The art, the presentation, the flavors — everything was top-notch. Each course was delicious, interesting, and beautiful. We were constantly amazed by every dish. The waitress was wonderful and attentive, and the chef came out to ask us about our meal at the end of it. There was no better way for us to spend our evening in celebration of our marriage earlier that day. We will be returning to the Dolomites simply to enjoy another meal at Tilia. Thank you.

Tuvimos la experiencia más increíble de comida y vino en el restaurante Tilia. La comida y el vino eran excepcionales, realmente fue la mejor comida que hemos comido. El restaurante es precioso e íntimo. El personal es increíble, muy amable y no puede hacer lo suficiente por usted. El chef es increíble y extremadamente talentoso. Este restaurante es una necesidad para cualquiera que venga a esta zona. Gracias a todos ustedes por una noche maravillosa.

Chalet Gerard

22/02/2025: Un grupo de 10 de nosotros tuvimos una muy buena cena en Chalet Gerard. La comida era deliciosa, llena de sabor, y disfrutada por todos. El personal era atento y amable, asegurando que teníamos todo lo necesario. La falta de ambiente en el restaurante fue un poco decepcionante. Además, dado que está a 15 minutos en coche de Val Gardena, se requiere un taxi, lo que se suma a la experiencia gastronómica, que ya es costosa, algo a tener en cuenta al presupuestar la noche. Dicho esto, la calidad de la comida y el servicio lo hizo una experiencia que vale la pena, y todos tuvimos una gran comida.
17/02/2025: Only ate at the restaurant Seperate vegan menu with lots of choices. The food was great! Staff was very nice and accommodating. Would only have wished that the vegan menu would have been published online.
