Dear French compatriots: you will not come just for that, but know that here you will have no difficulty understanding and being understood because the description of the dishes and wines and the service will be offered to you spontaneously in the language of Molière, both by the room staff as well as by the chef!
You can choose from the menu, small but excellent, but let yourself be tempted in three, four or five dishes, by the inspiration of Chris' moment.
And this without apprehension in relation to your tastes, since you can indicate what "disappoints" you when booking (obligatory since there are only five tables and twelve place settings per service).
Lots of tastes and flavors in perfectly cooked dishes, giving pride of place to local producers.
Beautiful wine list, including of course "ours", but here too, let yourself discover the wines of the Dolomites.
Really a great time in this Michelin-starred hotel in this bi-cultural region of South Tyrol.

This was our first experience with a dinner course in Italy. We ordered the 5-course meal with wine pairing, and the dishes were almost like works of art. The wines served alongside each course perfectly complemented the food. The table setting, chairs, and ambiance were all excellent for enjoying the meal, and the staff provided very friendly and detailed explanations about each dish. Although we didn’t manage to fully express our admiration to the chef at the time, the experience was truly exceptional and memorable. If we visit the Dolomites again, we would definitely love to return.

A fantastic, incredibly great evening. The food is terrific and regional with so much sophistication. The chef beams when he brings out the food and has so much fun talking about food, herbs and regional dishes. Simply a pleasure and the good mood is contagious. The spritz as an aperitif was great. I couldn't decide which gear I like best. All of them were sooooo delicious. A pure highlight!

Familienurlaub im Pustertal. Über die Michelin Empfehlung kamen wir zu dem Tilia. Schon der Eingangsbereich ist sehr schön gestaltet, der sehr gemütliche Wintergarten konnte wegen des Wetters leider nicht genutzt werden. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist einfach stimmig, nichts verschnörkelt, alles geschmackvoll mit ansprechender Kunst (Plastik und Bildern), die Tischekonstellation ist gelungen, nichts gedrängt, die Stühle eine wunderbare Mischung von Stuhl und Sessel - super bequem auch über einen Abend von ca. 4,5 Stunden. Die Gastgeber sind - neben dem Genuß - ein Highlight. Natürlich, sympathisch, engagiert, immer präsent, ohne jegliche Hektik, alles erklärend. Die Passion für das was mit dem Tilia geschaffen wurde ist präsent - wenn Herr Oberhammer eines seiner Gänge zum Gast trägt strahlt der ganze Körper vor Freude und auch Stolz - zu Recht. Die Gastgeber sind sicher dieses besonderen Ambiente. Die Weinkarte ist klasse, nicht überfüllt, ein Schwerpunkt auf Südtirol wie alles dort einen regionalen Bezug hat, aber natürlich sind auch Klassiker aus anderen Regionen Italiens, Frankreich etc. auf der Karte. Herauszustellen ist, das die Weine sehr gastfreundlich kalkuliert sind, meist unter dem Faktor 2 zu den Preisen ab Weingut, teils nur Faktor 1,5 ( z.B. der Terlan/Quarz für 96,- €). Dies ist herauszustellen da Faktor 2,5- 3 doch die Regel ist, und wir fanden auch schon den Faktor 3,5. Da macht es Spaß einen tollen Wein zum Essen zu bestellen. Wir wählten das 5-Gang-Überraschungsmenu, unsere Bitten (in einem Fall kein fleisch, in einem anderen kein rohes Fleisch oder rohen Fisch) wurden sofort aufgenommen. Das Essen war ein Erlebnis, alles dominiert mit regionalen Produkten, teils „alte“ Methoden der Lebensmittelverarbeitung wurden aufgegriffen, der Geschmack sehr konzentriert, viele Kräuter, und alles doch sehr harmonisch zusammengestellt. Kochkunst auf hohem Niveau, die Hingabe und die Leidenschaft zu kochen und zu kreieren ist in jedem Gang erlebbar. Ein sehr gelungener Abend, voller Genuß, Harmonie und Freude, woran die Gastgeber einen großen Beitrag hatten. Wir kommen wieder!

Family vacation in the Pustertal. We came to the Tilia through the Michelin recommendation. The entrance area is beautifully designed, but unfortunately the very cozy winter garden could not be used due to the weather. The ambience of the restaurant is simply harmonious, nothing ornate, everything tasteful with attractive art (plastics and pictures), the table configuration is successful, nothing crowded, the chairs are a wonderful mix of chairs and armchairs - super comfortable even for an evening of around 4 ,5 hours. The hosts are - in addition to the enjoyment - a highlight. Natural, friendly, committed, always present, without any hassle, explaining everything. The passion for what was created with the Tilia is present - when Mr. Oberhammer brings one of his dishes to the guest, his whole body beams with joy and pride - rightly so. The hosts are sure to create this special atmosphere. The wine list is great, not overcrowded, a focus on South Tyrol as everything there has a regional connection, but of course there are also classics from other regions of Italy, France, etc. on the menu. It should be noted that the wines are priced in a very hospitable manner, usually under a factor of 2 compared to the prices from the winery, sometimes only a factor of 1.5 (e.g. the Terlan/Quartz for €96). This needs to be emphasized because a factor of 2.5-3 is the rule, and we already found a factor of 3.5. It's fun to order a great wine with your meal. We chose the 5-course surprise menu, our requests (in one case no meat, in another no raw meat or raw fish) were immediately accommodated. The meal was an experience, everything was dominated by regional products, some “old” methods of food processing were used, the taste was very concentrated, lots of herbs, and everything was put together very harmoniously. Culinary art at a high level, the dedication and passion to cook and create can be experienced in every course. A very successful evening, full of enjoyment, harmony and joy, to which the hosts made a major contribution. We will be back!

We were here in 2016, it is now tradition to celebrate the wedding anniversary in a starred restaurant. Even though we were the only customers that evening, we were treated very well, the dishes were excellent and the service was impeccable. A beautiful memory that pushes me to review the place even though years have passed.
