We went for my birthday on Sunday, the place was packed but the quality was excellent. Generous portions, quick service (they don't rush you or make you wait forever). I especially fell in love with the truffle risotto and the thin crescentine! Everything was excellent! Thanks to all the staff for their patience and kindness ♥️ a birthday I'll remember 🦋

The food wasn't bad, but the vegetarian selection was very limited. When paying, we were charged twice for dishes.

At least a couple of times we go to the tavern on the hills with a now historic fixed menu like all you can eat. Even if the prices have increased disproportionately it is still worth it.

A good hotel, with simple but well-maintained rooms. The early breakfast is self-service and limited, but there are few places with pastries ready at 6 a.m.

We were in this beautiful place on Sunday 7th September for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, but the waitress was rude.

Nice place, and the food is really good, considering the quality ratio. We had the all-you-can-eat menu: incredible green strips, really good, excellent tagliata, superb homemade panna cotta. I always recommend it to all my friends. Excellent service. Nice and friendly waiters.

Locale gradevole in una bella posizione: al centro di un borghetto sui primi colli, facilmente raggiungibile da Bologna. Abbiamo mangiato nel complesso discretamente: molto piacevoli le crescentine, modesti il salume e I sottaceti; un po' scotto il risotto al "profumo "di tartufo, buone le lasagne ma servite in una cocotte piccolissima per cui risultava una porzione molto scarsa; tenera la tagliata; compensata la mediocrità del tiramisù dalla bontà della crema fritta. Servizio un po' distratto. Prezzi adeguati al locale.

11/11/2025: Good food, reasonable prices, and fast service. Well done!!! We recently returned and dined in a poorly heated, even cold, restaurant. When we return, when we make a reservation, we'll ask for a table inside the restaurant, which is definitely better heated. Otherwise, I confirm...well done!!!
21/10/2025: A good restaurant where you can enjoy a pleasant lunch or dinner, even in large groups. The only flaw we found was the organization of reservations, which were sometimes chaotic or overlapping. Regardless, we highly recommend them for their seasonal dishes and their famous battered fried mushrooms!

Pasta Lab

11/10/2025: Thanks to Alexandra's great people skills and deep knowledge about pasta/food my family and I made wonderful lifelong memories of making pasta in Bologna Italy. It was truly a wonderful experience and a great dinner too. We made the tagliatelle and tortelloni pasta starting from flour and egg and the filling starting from ricotta and parmigiano reggiano. The final dishes, tortelloni with butter sage sauce (with sage leaves straight from the plant growing in the kitchen) and tagliatelle with ragù bolognese (and wine, if course), made an unforgettably wonderful dinner. If this wasn't enough, during the dinner we also had interesting and entertaining conversation with Alexandra. To top it all off, Alexandra emailed us very professionally written recipes of the food we made. It all was such a great experience. If any if this sounds like something you would enjoy, I highly recommend doing a pasta class at pasta lab.
10/10/2025: We had an amazing pasta class with Alexandra. We are pretty familiar with making pasta, but we still learned an incredible amount of new things that will help make our pasta better when we go back home to the US. Alexandra was wonderful- talking about food and cooking with her was one of the best parts of the class. She also welcomed our many (many!) questions, and gave us the “why” of the steps, not just the “do it this way”. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to take a pasta class in Bologna. Also the ragu that she made for with the tagliatelle was the best that I had on the entire trip.
