A consistently elegant restaurant. The traditional dishes are well-prepared, but overall, they don't stand out compared to other restaurants in Ilcine, even those less highly regarded and more basic. The wine list is impeccable, with many local labels. Compared to other restaurants, the prices are slightly above average.

The food was outstanding. The service was very strange. They practically kicked us out. They wouldn't even let us finish chewing our food before asking if we wanted dessert. The same thing happened with the appetizers. They were very rushed and cold when serving us. You feel more like a nuisance than a customer.

The food was disappointing. The pinci all'aglione, in particular, had a watery, thin sauce. I didn't appreciate the choice (in January) to use fresh cherry tomatoes instead of a good pulp or passata. The beef braised in balsamic vinegar was very sweet, too sweet.

Nice place, good food, and a nice wine list. It's a shame I'm not a Brunello connoisseur! The guinea fowl was delicious, and I found the cuisine not too heavy or delicate.

The tagliatelle with mushrooms was good, but I asked for parmesan, which was brought late, with mockery pointing out that it wasn't needed! I didn't like the lemon cream tart and it was piping hot, but most importantly, they brought us a jug of frothed milk to stain our coffee, which was spoiled: the milk had turned to ricotta and had separated from the whey.

Situated in a prime location, the restaurant immediately presents itself as an extremely refined space, where attention to detail creates an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. ​The View: The real "coup de theatre" is the window overlooking the valley. If you're lucky enough to dine while admiring the splendor of the Tuscan hills, it adds an inestimable value to the experience. ​A special mention goes to the owner's courtesy. He's a person who knows how to welcome guests with professionalism, but who, if approached with the right attitude, reveals a warmth and helpfulness that is truly appreciable. ​Tastefully decorated, the bistro manages to be elegant without being pretentious, perfect for both lunch and a refreshing break. It's very fitting of its name.

15/02/2026: Quick and respectful service. I paid for a well-made mojito on Valentine's Day for my girlfriend. The cocktail was truly delicious and, above all, beautiful to look at.
14/02/2026: I'm a tourist, I visited Siena, and during one of my walks I went into this bar. It's absolutely beautiful inside, and there's a veranda for those who want to enjoy the fresh air. The service was impeccable, the drinks were delicious, and that evening they had a karaoke night. I'm not Italian, but I felt right at home. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and I loved the music and singing. I highly recommend this place.
