We were drawn to a Michelin recommendation, but honestly, we have no idea what it was based on. We've been visiting Italy and many restaurants for years, so we had something to compare it to – the food wasn't amazing, but it was okay; the bruschetta, which came in three halves of bread with tomatoes only on two halves, was very disappointing. The biggest disappointment was probably the mushroom pasta – we asked what kind before ordering and were told it was a mix of mushrooms – unfortunately, it was practically all button mushrooms.
The prices are relatively low, but I don't think it's worth returning to this restaurant.
The atmosphere is Tuscan, but not very pleasant – it's quite dark inside, and the pictures in colorful plastic frames don't really fit. We asked for the air conditioning to be turned on because it was getting quite stuffy, but we were told it was broken.

Not sure about credibly claiming Michelin stars or at least getting on a list of noteworthy ones, because the food was not very good, but they had a big vine card (a book in a red binding)

Local vibe to the core. Food is not overcomplicated, one could say it's simple, but it's just very good. And considering how cheap that was? Highly recommend.

We had a lovely lunch at the Grappolo Blu. We had the pici al ragù and the tagliatelle with the duck sauce and both were just perfect. To finish we had the melted pecorino cheese with honey - what a perfect way to finish a meal! To top it all, the service was kind and friendly and we really enjoyed our meal there.

We ordered four dishes this time
The red wine stewed meat and millet paste was a bit salty and had to be eaten with bread
The beef tripe with meat sauce was a bit spicy and had a slightly stronger black pepper flavor. It was stewed just right, not too soft or too hard, and it was very refreshing to eat with bread
The black truffle mushroom pasta was fragrant as soon as it was served. The strong black truffle sauce was very good
The tomato pasta was indeed much richer than the tomato pasta at Yijia, and the hand-rolled noodles were very chewy
Overall, this restaurant deserves to be a Michelin restaurant, and the price is not high
The interior decoration is simple, but the atmosphere is very good

We decided to explore the super chewy Italian 🇮🇹 pasta restaurant🍴 recommended by Michelin in 2019! Yes🫶🫶 accidentally fell in love😍😍 with piano piano Fresh egg🥚 noodles + fragrant handmade Italian noodles with truffles and mushrooms! It tastes really chewy! Don’t waste the sauce after eating, use bread to dip the truffle sauce to clean up the plate + taste🥰!
Then the rabbit meat recommended by the chef🧑🍳 was my first experience, and it tasted like chicken🤔. The other dish was beef tendon, I think it was too oily but the taste was actually quite good!

Food was good, pretty well priced for Montalcino and quality was excellent. If you want a table on the terrace (which has excellent views), you cannot reserve in advance so would advice to arrive at opening if this is a priority for you
