14/07/2026: 🐟 Elegance, super-fresh fish, and excellent pizza in Cossato!
If you're in Cossato or the Biella area and are looking for a place that can please everyone—from raw fish lovers to pizza purists—Moonlight Restaurant is an excellent choice. I went there for a couples dinner and the experience was impeccable, from appetizer to dessert.
Here are the aspects that convinced me to give it top marks:
🐙 The Cuisine: The Biella Sea
The menu's real strength is the fish. Finding such quality in the area is not a given:
* Seafood Appetizers: Fresh, beautifully presented, and with attention to flavor contrasts. The raw fish is exceptional, chilled and served at the perfect temperature.
* First and Second Courses: The tagliolini allo scoglio or the mixed fried fish are light, crispy, and not greasy. You can taste that the ingredients are carefully selected.
* Pizza: For those who prefer something more classic, the pizza (baked in a wood-fired oven) features a light, digestible dough and generous, top-quality toppings.
✨ Ambience and Atmosphere
The restaurant is modern, clean, and tastefully decorated. The soft lighting creates the right atmosphere for both a romantic dinner and an evening with family or friends, without the chaos typical of large streets. Tables are well-spaced, ensuring excellent privacy during dinner.
🤵 Punctual and friendly service
The dining room staff is attentive, fast, and very knowledgeable in recommending the day's specials and wine pairings (the wine list offers excellent labels, both local and national). The wait times were perfect, even though the dining room was almost full.
> Extra tip: The desserts are artisanal and absolutely worth the space at the end of the meal (their deconstructed tiramisu or spoon desserts are out of this world). Absolutely fair and reasonable value for the quality of the food served.
