Ristorante Sotoriva In Venezia

Great Italian restaurant with moderately sized and priced pizzas that are available for takeaway with ordering at the restaurant. We had gluten free tiramisu, because that was the only option for takeaway tiramisu and it was okay hence being gluten free. Pizza was very tasty though!

We were here 4 times out of 4 days, we really enjoyed the food, we will come again!!

Visited the restaurant again after 3 years. The outside hasn't changed much. The pizza was very large and our son enjoyed it. We had grilled vegetables and fried vegetables as starters. Both were okay, but I felt something was missing from the grilled vegetables. They tasted bland and, as you can see from the pictures, I would have liked a bit of variety. My husband had gnocchi with cheese sauce for the main course. It tasted good, but I personally found the gnocchi too soft. The grilled dish was very tasty. The meat was grilled very well. The meat wasn't tough, it was really good. Unfortunately, the dishes arrived very late! This isn't the fault of the service, but of the kitchen. With three people, the chef should know what to prepare and when so that everyone can eat together. The service staff was very nice.

Typical Italian ristorante with pizzeria. Seafood spaghetti had great taste on it, made from fresh pasta 👌🏽the next day we got pizza which was also great. A little minus is the view from the restaurant (super close to the lock and fence in front of the sea), but significantly better in my perception than 4.1 ⭐️

Excellent food, friendly staff, owners always attentive and present

We sat outside with a view across a street, through a chain-link fence past a harbor, and onto the water. The food selection is extensive. We ordered starters and main courses, plus side dishes. First of all, everything tasted good! I wanted to eat with my wife for her birthday, but unfortunately, the food came out of the kitchen just as the chef had finished it. Everything was mixed up. The side dishes arrived about 10 minutes before my main course, and they were barely warm. My wife had finished by the time I got my food. It's a shame, really, because the meal was a disaster. At least all the servers were nice. The restaurant was only about 20% full.
