Probably the only place around the temples of Paestum where you can eat for lunch. The pasta was excellent.

Excellent lunch!
Hot day and yet it was wonderful under the canopy overlooking the temple.
Extremely friendly waiter and delicious food. Don't miss the Cilento-style stuffed anchovies, the first courses and the spectacular crispy frying.
Really excellent quality/price ratio.

The restaurant is really pleasant, offering an internal room with air conditioning and an external area with very large tables, much larger than normal. The service is very fast and efficient and managed by the three owners, we could say family-run but with elegance and professionalism, the normal prices force the pizzas to be priced a little higher than the norm but it's worth it. The quality fish, the plate of mussels costing 10 euros was truly plentiful enough for two to eat, as was the fried fish and above all the super abundant plate of chips. In short, an experience worth repeating for those of us who are regulars in these areas

Despite having read some negative reviews about the place, we decided to have lunch in this restaurant. And we were right, everything was fine.
The food was good with generous dishes and an attentive waitress.

Next to our destination, the archaeological site of Paestum. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food. The dishes seemed to be thawed or reheated. My gnocchi dish was horribly salty and, despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the service was not very fast. A very mixed experience.

Arrivati a Paestum dopo una giornata campale in costiera amalfitana e sorrentina, abbiamo cercato un ristorante dove poter mangiare un “primo” caldo. Dopo inutili telefonate abbiamo trovato riscontro al Simposium. Ne siamo riconoscenti perché è sembrato aperto solo per noi. Ma i complimenti vanno al cuoco. Ci siamo limitati a due primi: uno per mia moglie celiaca, e uno per me che la sera sono fanatico di zuppe o minestre in brodo. Conclusione: uno spaghetti per ciliaci alle vongole e una zuppetta di fagioli con funghi e trancetti di seppia. Entrambi eccellenti. Sarà stata l’ora e la fame, ma a noi sono sembrati la “fine del mondo”. Grazie
