Quality food, kind, professional, perfect owner

I stopped for lunch on a road trip: I was welcomed by the owner in an intimate and refined setting. After perusing the menu, I noticed the medium/high prices, which I'm okay with, but considering the culinary quality of the area, I didn't find the food exceptional enough to fully justify them. I'll be honest and tell you that everything was good, but it just lacked that little something extra. The thing that bothered me most, however, was that when it came time to pay, the owner—who I assume made a mistake—charged me about ten euros more than I should have, adding up the menu prices, without a proper itemized bill. For a lunch costing nearly €50 (appetizer, first course, coffee, water, and a glass) that seems like a hefty sum. I paid absentmindedly. At the door, I realized what was odd and wanted to ask for an explanation, but I wasn't allowed to do so because the owner closed the door behind me and pulled down the shutter with Olympic speed. I was the last customer. I could have even knocked on the shutter, I didn't, but if I pass by that area I certainly won't come back.

If you want truly perfect Italian cuisine, this is the place for you. Sebastiano is a perfect host. He puts his heart and soul into it. I hope this restaurant will continue to exist for a long time. Blanca Tamara David

Esperienza di viandanti di ritorno a Milano, dalle Langhe, fermatisi per caso da Sebastiano. Oste (Sebastiano) gentile ma sui generis, tutto da scoprire come i suoi piatti. Primi, secondo e antipasti tutti di alta qualità, serviti nel pieno rispetto delle materie prime. Locale piccolo ma super accogliente. Consigliato
