For years now I have been going to the sandwich shop on Saturday evenings for an excellent, giant and very stuffed sandwich. Last time I discovered "L'osteria Sant' Andrea" only after ordering the sandwich. But with the people I was with, after a stroll around the historic center of Salerno to digest, we sat back down to taste the excellent pasta and potatoes which we enjoyed very much! 😂 Also thanks to the very empathetic restaurateur/chef who intrigued us. Go there with confidence 😉

Located in the heart of Salerno, the Sant'Andrea, surrounded by historic buildings, it is an obligatory stop to eat an excellent sandwich with various fillings. My favorite is the one with parmigiana.

Very quiet and relaxing environment, it feels like being at home, excellent meat and fish dishes, the tourist menu is also highly recommended

I recommend the Sant'Andrea Restaurant to those who wish to enjoy good cuisine with friendly service. We will definitely be back to experience all it has to offer again.

Typical tavern....the new management has given a nice touch both to the environment but above all to the dishes....served well, carefully prepared and at reasonable prices... Highly recommended

16/09/2023: Last night, despite it being mid-September, we waited 1 and a half hours for the pizzas which I add we liked. What really bothered me was that 2 tables were served first despite arriving later. The TOP were the owner's screams...unprofessional!!!!

29/07/2023: Abbiamo cenato ieri sera in questo agriturismo ed è stata una bellissima scoperta. Cucina casalinga, di tradizione cilentana, in una suggestiva location in collina, con splendida vista su Capaccio-Paestum. Porzioni abbondanti e tutto molto appetitoso e digeribile. Personale di sala cortese, veloce e molto disponibile. Anche la nostra nipotina di sette anni ha apprezzato i cibi proposti. Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. Consigliato senza se e senza ma!
