Ristorante San Marco In Valeggio sul mincio

I just had lunch in a beautiful location. The food was very good, the tortellini being a classic. But today I tried the lemon and turmeric tagliolini with baby squid and tomato powder, which were delicious. The wine and dessert menus were good and varied. It's a shame the service wasn't exactly impeccable given the location and the service was practically in the dark.

I went to Gran Cafe San Marco this weekend, and the food was magnificent. The restaurant offers a menu featuring traditional Valeggio dishes as well as more unique flavors. The wait time was short. Nothing to complain about, except for the staff... I think it was the manager, and he was quite rude. I hope it was due to the large crowd.

If you want coffee, then this is not the place for you. Unless you like weak warm coffee

A fantastic restaurant with a wonderful ambiance and, above all, very good food. We can only recommend the tortellini. They are a culinary delight, a MUST-try when in Borghetto. Our friends had pizza, which must have been very good too. We've never eaten such delicious pasta. The waiters were super friendly, and there's a great playground for the kids behind the building. Excellent value for money. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Beautiful, welcoming location with warm, soft lighting in the evening. Plenty of seating. Very kind and helpful waiters. That's all there is to it. The pizza? Not bad, but it's practically as thick as an A4 sheet of paper. It looks big, but it's so thin you could easily eat two. €16 for less than 180 grams of gnocchi. €5.50 for literally half a scoop of pink grapefruit sorbet. Really high prices for the portions. Too bad.

Exclusive restaurant in a beautiful and picturesque location: the terrace overlooks the Mincio River. Excellent pizza, as are the desserts.

Locale ben posizionato sulla riva sinistra del Mincio, dotato di terrazze panoramiche, poste poco lontano dal Ponte visconteo. La ricettività è notevole con anche l'ampio salone coperto. Servizio competente con camerieri educati e disponibili, anche assai rapido ma per questo ultimo aspetto solo fintanto che il locale non si è affollato, anche i servizi sono ben tenuti e puliti, ma diventano insufficienti a locale pieno, derivandone lunghe attese. I piatti da noi scelti, orientati prevalentemente al pesce, ci hanno pienamente soddisfatto, ben cucinati ( la frittura di pescetti di fiume ottima ), ben presentati e in porzioni adeguate. Carta dei vini fornita e anche con dotazione di bottiglie mezzine. Il rapporto qualità / prezzo ( e ambiente ) è ottimo, in linea con diverse ristorazioni del territorio, quindi lo consigliamo per una esperienza valida senza eccessive pretese. Nostra intenzione di ritornarci.

Wir waren abgeschreckt von der 3,6, aber hatten Lust auf Pizza. Was kann da schon schiefgehen. Kamen hin, feines Ambiente. Bekamen Tisch zugewiesen und Bestellung und Lieferung geschahen geräuschlos und schnell. Ich kann nur über die Pizza Auskunft geben. Die war tadellos und für 10 Euro mit ordentlicher Größe. Der Lambrusco secco Milleseminate war lecker, und mit 21 Euro absolut in Ordnung. Espresso 1,50. Coberto 2,50. Ja, für die Bezahlung muss man zu einem hübschen Büdchen (Beichtstuhl?). Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das bei Stoßzeiten voller sein kann. Es fehlt einzig an Herzlichkeit, die man von Italiener kennt.
