Ristorante San Marco In Valeggio sul mincio

Incredibly beautiful, right on the river and the historic bridge, which isn't really obvious from the entrance. But the food! Amazing! We had a vitello tonnato, the tortelli tasting, and the buffalo, and everything was incredibly good. I've never eaten better tortelli, and the ambiance was beautiful. I would eat here again anytime if I were in the area. Truly top-notch!

Delicious food with a gorgeous view of the river! The garden is large and well kept. Perfect playground for kids on the grounds.

A very beautiful and quaint place. We had Garda-style pike with polenta, spaghetti with sea bass, a selection of tortelli, and grilled eel. Everything was delicious and flavorful. The desserts were also excellent.

A large restaurant with a very nice outdoor area, right at the foot of the hill. We had vitello tonnato, various tortellini, and chicken. Everything was delicious. There was some confusion with the food at several tables because the wrong dishes were initially brought out, but then everything arrived correctly. It was a lovely evening.

Nice restaurant, but that's all there is to it. The food, while featuring local specialties, is average at best. The service is far too fast; dishes that were barely announced and not ordered are left on our table, and the waiter has already gone back to the kitchen.

Recommended! The terrace overlooking the Mincio River is lovely. The food is good, and the menu is slightly different from other restaurants in the area.

We were undecided whether to eat or have an aperitivo, given the time we arrived. We asked if the kitchen was open, and they said yes. Of course, we were happy it was open, and in fact we enjoyed the inevitable tortelli: my wife ordered the pumpkin-filled ones, while I, who would have had them all, opted for the tasting. A perfect choice. Then we had dessert: I had a gourmet San Marco coffee, while she had a rosé with vanilla ice cream. A truly excellent choice, especially for the view directly over the Mincio River.

The food was okay, and the view of the water was nice. There's a children's playground and plenty of seating. BUT: The tables were very wobbly, the chair covers were dirty, and the waiters were polite but difficult to approach. The staff was quite disruptive, running back and forth. It seems like they give preferential treatment to locals. The salad arrived with the main course, but it arrived within a few minutes. We were sent inside to pay.

Locale ben posizionato sulla riva sinistra del Mincio, dotato di terrazze panoramiche, poste poco lontano dal Ponte visconteo. La ricettività è notevole con anche l'ampio salone coperto. Servizio competente con camerieri educati e disponibili, anche assai rapido ma per questo ultimo aspetto solo fintanto che il locale non si è affollato, anche i servizi sono ben tenuti e puliti, ma diventano insufficienti a locale pieno, derivandone lunghe attese. I piatti da noi scelti, orientati prevalentemente al pesce, ci hanno pienamente soddisfatto, ben cucinati ( la frittura di pescetti di fiume ottima ), ben presentati e in porzioni adeguate. Carta dei vini fornita e anche con dotazione di bottiglie mezzine. Il rapporto qualità / prezzo ( e ambiente ) è ottimo, in linea con diverse ristorazioni del territorio, quindi lo consigliamo per una esperienza valida senza eccessive pretese. Nostra intenzione di ritornarci.

Wir waren abgeschreckt von der 3,6, aber hatten Lust auf Pizza. Was kann da schon schiefgehen. Kamen hin, feines Ambiente. Bekamen Tisch zugewiesen und Bestellung und Lieferung geschahen geräuschlos und schnell. Ich kann nur über die Pizza Auskunft geben. Die war tadellos und für 10 Euro mit ordentlicher Größe. Der Lambrusco secco Milleseminate war lecker, und mit 21 Euro absolut in Ordnung. Espresso 1,50. Coberto 2,50. Ja, für die Bezahlung muss man zu einem hübschen Büdchen (Beichtstuhl?). Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass das bei Stoßzeiten voller sein kann. Es fehlt einzig an Herzlichkeit, die man von Italiener kennt.
