Great food and very nice location. We had lunch on the terrace. The only flaw is the scorching heat, the terrace should be equipped with air conditioners / climate control.

At Ristorante San Giulio you eat well, with dishes that are refined but never pretentious, such as the fresh pasta with lake fish: tasty, well-balanced and cooked to perfection. The staff is welcoming and attentive, without ever being intrusive. All in an enchanting location, overlooking the calm waters of Lake Orta. Perfect for a family lunch dedicated to relaxation and good food.

We booked 5 days in advance for dinner on Saturday night. It is likely to be full without a reservation. They picked us up right on time with their boat in Orta. What can I say? Wonderful location, delicious food, fast, attentive and friendly staff. One of them took us upstairs to the room to show me where they filmed the movie La Correspondence (one of my favorites). Prices appropriate for the location. Highly recommended.

Local located on the island of San Giulio in front of Orta San Giulio. Take the ferry 10 euros and in 5 minutes you are there. The only restaurant with excellent service and very good food. The place should be reviewed nothing exceptional. It is also suitable for receptions.

Very characteristic restaurant, where you can have lunch while admiring Lake Orta. Good food, excellent service, and the island is worth a visit inside where you can enjoy tranquility and peace.

We booked a table in the terrace and were relieved to be seated near the water. There was a big group when we arrived and it was very busy. The Tallarin with perch was delicious, but the vitello tonnato was drowning in sauce which was a little scary. The fish and chips was interesting if a tad too fishy. The Iberian pork cheek was nicely cooked and not heavy, but the agnolotti was not the best we’ve had in the Piedmont. Service was friendly and the meal was lovely overall. The moscato d’Asti that we asked for but not mentioned on the wine list turned out to be a bit too expensive for what it was.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante nel corso dell'ultimo giorno di un viaggio in Piemonte. Abbiamo pranzato molto bene. Peccato che è stato in mordi e fuggi perché dovevamo subito rientrare a casa. Se dovessi tornare, vorrei sostare di più, perché è un posto davvero particolare.

Restaurant, I believe the only one, located on the island of San Giulio. I recommend booking and asking to have lunch or dinner on the terrace overlooking the lake. This terrace offers a significant portion of the view of Lake Orta. Regarding the menu, there are several solutions. I tasted the lake menu they proposed, 4 courses, including dessert, of absolute quality. The pasta was very fresh, probably homemade. The second course, a trout fillet, something exceptional. The dessert, Marsala zabaglione with sbrodolona cake, was a worthy conclusion. The selection of wines offered is particular, I have not read about wines from "commercial" wineries. Considering the location and what was tasted, costs are definitely in line, if not lower, than the offer. High level staff, courtesy, friendliness and professionalism. Absolutely recommended.

Having booked a few days in advance and having asked for a table with a view, we ate practically on the lakeside. We took two tasting menus, both very good. While waiting between one course and another, given the amount of people that day, they offered us a glass of prosecco. Better than this!.. Highly recommended.

Ci siamo recati in questo ristorante durante la nostra visita ad Orta San Giulio. Ristorante molto carino con una bella vista sul lago. Personale molto accogliente. Cibo buono e qualità prezzo direi ottima. Unica pecca è che abbiamo aspettato veramente tanto le portate ma probabilmente ci sarà stato qualche problemino in cucina. Consigliato
