I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Sabaudia Restaurant and I must say that it was a truly positive experience. The place is welcoming and well looked after, with a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent: well-prepared dishes, fresh and quality ingredients, with authentic flavors that enhance the local culinary tradition. Each course was well balanced and with attention to detail. The service was impeccable, with courteous and attentive staff, always available without being intrusive. In summary, a restaurant to recommend to those looking for an excellent lunch in a pleasant environment. I will definitely be back!

I was invited to celebrate a wedding. We had a really good time from every point of view. I gave it four stars simply because I don't know the price. An experience to be repeated for sure.

Delizioso ristorante di tradizione piemontese nelle ex cascine dell'elegante Reggia di Stupinigi. Menù essenziale, senza fronzoli, a scelta tra 4 antipasti, 4 primi e 4 secondi. Carta dei vini eccezionale, con belle bottiglie, piemontesi e non solo. Cucina di territorio, senza pasticci. L'ambiente è quello dei ristoranti di una volta, ma genuini, sempre più rari. Anche il carrello dei formaggi è notevole, e il loro panettone artigianale è in assoluto il migliore mai mangiato. Pasto completo con una bottiglia di Bogliona del 2009 (perfetta, a 60 euro), un conto di 80 euro circa a testa, forse un pelo elevato per la media dell'offerta nella zona ma a mio avviso giustificato oltre che dalla qualità del pasto anche dall'eccezionale accoglienza e simpatia di tutte le signore e signorine in sala, che ti fanno sentire davvero a casa. Da tornarci sicuramente, e più di una volta!

Menù tipicamente piemontese e buono, carta dei vini un po' troppo ricaricata. Menù a degustazione, ma se decidi di mangiare alla carta è specificato che non si possono condividere i piatti e che ne devono essere ordinati almeno due a persona. Mi sono sentito non a mio agio.

20/02/2025: Excellent dinner, pleasant atmosphere. It was unpleasant, being in a wheelchair, to have daring and difficult access to both the entrance and the toilet, contrary to what was written on the page. Given the kindness of the staff, I am sure of the commitment to modify the information...

05/02/2025: A "bagna cauda", the classic Piedmontese winter sauce based on garlic, oil and anchovies, to be enjoyed in the characteristic "fujot", an earthenware stove powered by a lit flame to keep it warm, in which raw vegetables are dipped, such as cabbage, fennel, cardoons, celery, as well as other cooked ones, such as onions, peppers, potatoes, with the addition of tubers such as Jerusalem artichokes. This was followed by a splendid course of raw meat and the traditional dish of tajarin with butter. To finish, a hazelnut and zabaglione cake. All washed down with an excellent Nebbiolo. In the purest and most ancient tradition, with the same spirit of the past, when we gathered around the steaming cauldron and shared what the peasant land generously offered, as well as a unique and important convivial moment. A beautiful experience, which we renew year after year in a unique place for its hospitality and quality of raw materials and where, above all, we truly feel at home.
