What a great choice, Ristorante Italia! The food is wonderful! We had the amazing pici cacio & pepe, the very tender veal loin, and the delicious gnocchi with gorgonzola, cavolo nero, and walnuts! Congratulations!!!

We stayed during a two-day motorcycle tour in Poggibonsi and found this restaurant online. The atmosphere is simple and welcoming, and I believe it's family-run. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The menu isn't terribly extensive, but everything we tried was excellent. The quality/price ratio was excellent. I would definitely recommend it!

The best tagliata I've ever eaten! Soft and cooked to perfection, you can taste the quality! The Tuscan crostini are also very good! Top prices! I highly recommend!

We had an amazing dinner in Ristorante Italian tonight. The services were great and the food were amazing. Pasta and veal steak were cooked perfect. Definitely recommend it to everyone.

This place came recommended and had high reviews. However, quite the disappointed by the experience all together. I must admit that the outdoor sitting area is beautiful and the service we received was on par for being from out of country. Unfortunately, the food was a mix of mediocre and disappointment. More specifically, the carbonara was essentially pasta and scrambled eggs, which was anticlimactic given the regions pride in the dish. Yet, the veal and lardo was delicious so a mix bag overall.

Good food and good price. I had the rabbit, the sause was very good but there was a lot of bones and not much meat. Lasagne was better.

Trattoria tipica (anzi tipicissima) nel cuore di Poggibonsi. Ambiente spartano, servizio spartano, menù tradizionalissimo toscano con qualche divagazione che lascia perplessi (perchè la carbonara? perchè gli spaghetti alle vongole?). Per il resto le pietanze sono buone, ben cucinate e con buone porzioni. Non delude, ma non lascia entusiasti. Prezzi medi.
