The food is delicious, although it's expensive, we really enjoyed the cuisine! It has a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere.

A warm and welcoming place with a truly pleasant atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the service is attentive. The food is delicious and beautifully presented, perfect for a relaxing evening in the heart of Venice.

We got the spaghetti with lamb and the traditional spaghetti with the “wrong” sauce and they were just ok for the price. They also charged us 4€ for tap water…

The staff welcomed us with genuine kindness and attention, making us feel truly valued rather than just another table in a busy city. The food? Absolutely fabulous. Every dish delivered — fresh, inventive and deeply satisfying. We savored flavors that felt rooted in Venetian tradition, yet presented with flair and personality. The presentation was polished without ever feeling pretentious. Moments like that octopus-with-pepper sauce main and the beautifully plated starters linger in the memory. The location and ambience added so much to the evening. Outdoors, we were seated by the canal, which lent the meal a lovely natural rhythm of Venetian life — gondolas gently passing, reflections in the water, and a soft breeze carrying the sound of the city. Inside, Rosa Rossa boasts a cool, modern interior, stylish yet inviting, which made the whole experience feel elevated but comfortable. Overall: one of those rare restaurants where everything aligns — service, food, setting — and leaves you with a feeling of joy and satisfaction. If you find yourself in Venice and want a meal that’s both special and heartfelt, Rosa Rossa is a very strong choice.

My dad and I ate here for their 12 bites tasting menu and were completely blown away! We also ordered a dessert at the end, which was a perfect finish to the meal. Everything tasted delicious and the staff was very friendly. They were accommodating when we were deciding on which bottle of wine to drink with the tasting menu. Should we return to Venice, we would absolutely dine here again (: Every time we see a tasting menu at a restaurant we get it, because it is what the chefs curate the best. This one was truly magnificent!

Such a lovely experience! Great service and great food. Try the 12 bite Degustazione Menu. Quite pricey, but really worth every penny.

Not a touristy restaurant and very welcoming to us even without a reservation on a Monday night. Innovative menu. Good vibe from decor, staff and food.

Disfrutamos de otra deliciosa cena en mayo en Rosa Rossa, esta vez con nuestros dos nietos adolescentes, nuestra tercera vez allí. Una vez más nos sentamos en una tranquila mesa al aire libre en Rio Terra dei Assassini donde recibimos un excelente servicio. Este restaurante familiar es perfecto: la madre sienta a los comensales y supervisa todo, el hijo es chef con un menú excelente y la hija y la sobrina son camareras y brindan un servicio amable y atento. La maravillosa comida y el acogedor servicio hicieron de esta una experiencia memorable en Venecia. Definitivamente volveremos cuando regresemos a Venecia.
