The restaurant has good potential to offer a quality, all-round culinary experience, but so far I've found some imperfections that lead me to give it a low overall rating.
Cons:
The wine list (by the glass) is priced way too high for what's on offer.
The table setting is too cheap (paper napkins) for a restaurant with €28 dishes on the menu.
To finish, the spaghetti dish was served as a "bigoli" dish.
Pros:
Very beautiful venue and an elegant, intimate atmosphere.
Strong and interesting flavors. Especially the creamed cod with Sriracha sauce and the volpina ceviche.
The turbot and red shrimp tortelli were delicious.

Some of the best pasta I have had on my Italy trip. After Rome and Florence where I have had some great, cheese filled pasta, the cuttlefish pasta I had at Rosa Rossa presented a different flavor profile with citrus and butter that was simply perfect imo. Glad to have found this place!

OMG!! What a fantastic food experience. We ordered the tasting menu...and it was an explosion of flavors and the food melted on the tongue. It was worth all the money if not more. Small dishes that are presented, but after 12 dishes you are full. All the dishes were presented in a nice way. The waiters were accommodating and are concerned that you are satisfied. Come here and have a special food experience ❤️🇮🇹

After years I returned to eat at the Rosa Rossa restaurant in Venice and what can I say, I was already satisfied at the time, I can only speak well of it and recommend it... it's a place that has remained in my heart.

A welcoming place with a truly pleasant atmosphere.
The staff is very friendly and speaks French.
The service is attentive. The dishes are good and nicely presented, but the portions are minimal! If you're hungry, this isn't the place for you!

The dishes are homemade. We had the lasagna with fresh pasta, and it made all the difference. The service was perfect. The atmosphere is calm, ideal for a romantic meal. The manager is a wonderful person and speaks amazing French! A fantastic restaurant; I highly recommend it.

We arrived early and were able to get a table without a reservation.
If you're looking for very large portions, this isn't the place for you. However, if you want to be surprised, you've come to the right place. The cuisine we enjoyed was very creative, with a clear focus on the interplay of flavors and textures. I discovered, for example, that Venetian samphire can be perfectly incorporated into a dessert!
The price is indeed a bit higher than at some other restaurants, but here you'll find dishes prepared with meticulous attention to detail that you rarely find elsewhere.
We'll definitely be back before we leave!

A beautiful place with excellent service. For starters, we ordered scallops which were spectacular! For our main courses, we had lasagna and vongole, which were very good, but they couldn't surpass the scallops! Highly recommended.
