Stumbled on Ristorante Regina during our walk back to the hotel on our last night in Rome. This family run restaurant had friendly service with excellent value as well. The tiramisu is a must!

A wonderful place, full of Italians, not tourists. Family-run. With a wonderful atmosphere and open people eager to chat. This isn't just a place with good food, but with soul. I recommend the carbonara, liver, and tiramisu.
They don't include the envelope! You have to leave your own tip, if you wish.

An off-menu pasta and lentil soup, delicious, welcoming, and perfect for ending a busy day.
Everything was clean, the service was fast and impeccable.
Probably family-run, but that's the feeling, in any case, of family and sacrifice.
Highly recommended!

I've been to this restaurant in the Termini area twice (a notoriously unchic neighborhood)... yet I've found an oasis of beauty and deliciousness in the neighborhood.
The owners? Both times they've greeted me with a 360-degree smile, the waiters are helpful, the dishes are just the right size and delicious.
If I were to tell a tourist to eat in Termini, I'd tell them to go here, because "Armenians eat well in Termini."
