This Is a unique place in an area of many choices. You really feel you’re in Italy not in a touristic venue. Food is good, prices good, but atmosphere unmistakably Italian.

Regina Restaurant on a side street near our hotel was a good find went there because they make tortellini any way you like it also their lasagna is one of the best lasagna I had tried and I am Italian their veal saltimbocca were also delicious and they serve cicoria(chicory) as a side vegetable which I had not eaten since my grandmother died in the 90's she used to make it for Sunday dinner all the time...the decor of Regina Restaurant is kind of spartan like most restaurants in Rome that mostly cater to locals but they do have price fixed menu for tourists it was worth the short walk to have lunch there and it was quite reasonable with most food on the menu at about 9-10 euros.

I have been eating here for 20 years. In the entire Termini/Castro Pretorio area there is no better place. Family management, cleanliness, courtesy, good food.

19/10/2025: The best place in Rome for dinner. Homemade food, delicious, plentiful, very good prices, but especially the service of the waiters. Absolutely recommended!

It's undoubtedly a historic establishment in the heart of Rome, beloved by locals, tourists, and those passing through for a variety of reasons. It offers Italian and Lazio cuisine, expertly prepared with full respect for culinary tradition. The restaurant, though dated, shows its age well and, without being luxurious, is more than decent. Service is generally attentive, although on occasion it seems... could be improved! The prices are truly excellent value. Highly recommended!

19/06/2025: Great beers, prompt and attentive service and a family atmosphere. The end of the evening is spent here!
31/05/2025: I'm not from Rome but I've been living here for a while, it was great to find a welcoming and warm place for everyone where you can watch the games, drink great beer and dream. The draft beer is all quality but the best are the personalized cans with Roma players, a real treat for fans. The staff is fantastic! A place not to be missed!
