The setting, service, and food are truly top-notch! 😊 The entrance is treacherous, as location apps don't lead you to the entrance. But this restaurant remains a superb experience.

✨LUXURIOUS ✨ Yes, luxurious is the most fitting word for this wonderful restaurant. As with all locations in the Sassi of Matera, unfortunately, pedestrian access isn't the best, so be careful of climbs, descents, and steps. Especially if you have injuries, disabilities, very young children, or anything else, this is unfortunately not a place I would recommend. Also pay attention to GPS directions, which often take you close to your destination but not precisely to your destination. That said, the place is truly enchanting, located practically opposite the Rupestrian Church of Santa Maria di Idris, a beautiful monument in itself, which, along with the rest of the setting, practically becomes a nativity scene at night. When booking, I really appreciated the ability to specify any requests in the notes, from allergies or intolerances to a seat on the terrace, which I highly recommend. Obviously, this is a restaurant that is at its best in the evening; by choosing a table outside, you can fully enjoy the experience. Another convenience was being able to change the reservation time online up to 10 minutes in advance. This "digital" service, I must say, is very well managed, avoiding unnecessary phone calls and bad moods. The food is truly excellent, with refined and sophisticated dishes. BE CAREFUL: a minimum of three courses per person is mandatory, which will set you back around €80 per person, so be careful about this detail, which is often discovered once you're seated and reading the menu. The waiters' courtesy and kindness were quite good, although in a place like this, I would suggest paying more attention to your bearing, your attire, and especially wearing white gloves to better reflect the beauty of the place. Some things seem obvious to me, but unfortunately, Matera isn't yet fully ready to make this leap, precisely because people get lost in the details that make the difference. In conclusion, if you love beautiful places, luxury, landscapes, and good food, this is a place for you. Your wallet may cry, but oh well, sometimes it's okay. Treat yourself.

Upscale, innovative, Michelin-star cuisine, terraces with stunning views, and attentive service. Quite expensive for southern Italy, but the value for money is good. Reservations are recommended!

We've already been here twice for dinner, twice apart. The food, service, and view are always excellent. It's a must-see if you're lucky enough to experience it.

The restaurant is wonderful, the atmosphere and service from Francesco and his team were spectacular, making the evening very entertaining. The quality of the dishes and the wine list are exceptional. We will return and recommend it to everyone! Thank you, Francesco and the Regia Corte team.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't entirely satisfactory for us. We always had to raise our voices ourselves. When we were no longer noticed after the main course and no one else came to our table, we decided to leave without dessert and pay. We tried several very good restaurants during our vacation. The value for money here wasn't satisfactory for us. Also, at this price, we would have appreciated a more detailed explanation of the food instead of just having it served to us, which is a shame. The view, though, was really beautiful.

Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di cenare in questo ristorante molto bello, raffinato, curato nei dettagli. Una location top...resa tale dallo chef Pompeo un ragazzo che prepara i piatti con amore, mettendo tutta la sua professionalità e conoscenza al servizio del cliente. Abbiamo avuto modo di parlarci per 2 sere di seguito, un professionista che ama ciò che fa e che rispetta l'alimento prodotto dalla natura esaltandone tutte le qualità. Uno chef da 10 e lode. Stessa cosa dicasi del pasticcere Gianluca che segue la parte delle colazioni dell'hotel Sant'Angelo sempre fornite attraverso il ristorante Regiacorte...un professionista che regala eleganza a tutto quello che prepara, una colazione che non dimentichi per la varietà e soprattutto per l'alta qualità dei prodotti che utilizza. Un pasticcere notevole che fa trasparire dai suoi racconti l'amore profondo per la sua professione. Pompeo e Gianluca 2 professionisti da 5 stelle. Esperienza straordinaria al Regia Corte, nel cuore dei Sassi di Matera. Location incantevole, curata in ogni dettaglio, con una vista mozzafiato. Cucina ricercata ma legata alla tradizione, con piatti ben presentati e dai sapori autentici. Servizio attento, cordiale e professionale. Ottima anche la selezione dei vini. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole vivere un’esperienza gastronomica di alto livello in un luogo unico.
