GREAT PLACE, GREAT FOOD! Amazing view and really nice staff. A must!

We were really looking forward to this meal after reading other reviews however for the price both the food and service weren’t as good as we expected. The outlook from our table was gorgeous, but not enough to lean on. My wine didn’t arrive until midway through my starter and I was never asked if I wanted a refill. Even eating 3 courses we weren’t full. The flavours and quality of ingredients also weren’t what we were hoping for from the description. Overall disappointing.

I enjoyed a delicious breakfast. The buffet is rich and varied, with fresh, quality products. The environment is elegant and the view of the Sassi is breathtaking. The staff is very kind. Highly recommended!

Located in the enchanting heart of the Sassi di Matera, Regiacorte offers a culinary experience that combines Lucanian tradition with a touch of modern elegance. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by the breathtaking beauty of the place: a perfect mix of history and atmosphere, with the thousand-year-old stone of the Sassi which gives the place a unique and timeless charm. The real protagonist of our evening, however, was the director as well as sommelier Francesco who, with rare courtesy and passion, accompanied us on a food and wine journey that began with the choice of wine. His in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm guided us towards a French label that proved perfect for the chosen dishes. Each course was described to us with a care that revealed a sincere love for cooking, making us appreciate the restaurant's culinary art even more. The dishes, authentic and refined, were a real delight for the palate. From appetizers to desserts, every bite was an explosion of flavors, with very fresh ingredients and combinations that enhanced the Lucanian tradition without giving up a touch of creativity. Beautiful experience. It will be, from now on, one of my favorite places.

Il ristorante è molto bello e finemente arredato, il servizio impeccabile soprattutto quando abbiamo dovuto chiedere se era possibile aspettare per fare uscire i secondi piatti in quanto dovevamo fare una telefonata urgente, e ci siamo sentiti molto accolti. I piatti sono ben presentati, vengono utilizzate materie prime del territorio. Io ho optato per dei piatti vegetariani e li ho trovati molto gustosi. Sarà bello tornare per provare anche l’esterno che deve essere suggestivo.

Excellent Dinner ! Highly recommended while in Matera . It is located in the hotel so it is a bit difficult to find . It is worth the search !! The lamb, pasta and beef tartare were fantastic!!
