Excellent welcome, delicious food. There were four of us and we ate a 1.7kg steak accompanied by porcini mushrooms. The staff spared no effort to make us feel at ease and even spoiled us with small complimentary tastings of starters and desserts. You can't ask for more.

Si arriva al locale con qualche difficoltà. E’ infatti posizionato nella zona industriale della città. Esterno dubitativo. Interno, a prima impressione, dai contorni poco nitidi. Si avverte che per dimensioni delle sale e per il numero dei camerieri e’ un locale che vive alla carta, ma anche di eventi. Come accadeva anni or sono. Spesso. Menu’ niente da stupire. Carta dei vini invece molto importante. Salsa per crostini alla Toscana, non accesa. Buona. Coniglio in casseruola la, specialità della casa, notevole. Risotto ai funghi nella media. Quasi dimenticato. Fagioli bianchi all’olio, anch’essi nella media. Un bel Chianti morbido… prezzi un po’ sopra alle aspettative. Esci con il profumo di un ristorante vissuto. Da verificare la evoluzione futura. Forse ancora di incerta identità’

A special day for our family, and we decided to go to the Rafanelli Restaurant. We are welcomed by a fantastic and well-trained staff. Given the occasion, they arrange us in a secluded place, suitable for the occasion and we sit down. The owner Daniele arrives shortly, introduces himself, asks us what we were celebrating and for the occasion, proposes a menu. We let him do it. We received mixed starters, risotto with porcini mushrooms, pappardelle with duck ragù, slices of veal with porcini mushrooms and Tomahawk rib steak. He wanted us to try more dishes. To say it was all great goes without saying. But the thing that struck us was the thoughtfulness of both the staff and the owner (who showed up at the table several times to see if everything was okay), in addition to the fact that at the end of the meal, he offered to offer us some killer coffee (excellent with honey, coffee, herbs, from a local company we have never tried and which we will definitely try again because I want to try them all!!) after having proposed some fantastic fruit desserts and he stopped to tell us a little about them and of their guideline that they adopt for all customers. We get to pay and we spent €230 in 4. Ultra good price given the specialties tasted, which confirm that finding a restaurant like this, *ATTENTIVE TO EVERYONE'S NEEDS AND TASTES, CONSIDERABLE THAT YOU FEEL AT YOUR BEST, IS A TREASURE TO SHARE!!* CONGRATULATIONS TO THE RAFANELLI RESTAURANT.

A more than positive experience, I personally was welcomed and looked after by the owner, impeccable service! Certainly of a higher level than the dining room staff, who are always attentive, but to whom I would give 4 stars, because I reserve 5 for the owner, one of the few who I have seen interact with the customer so actively, with competence,
empathy and smiles.

Sono ospite di questo ristorante durante i miei viaggi di lavoro in Toscana. Il locale è molto raffinato, ma semplice allo stesso tempo. Senti da subito un'aria famigliare e le luci della sala ti fanno sentire come a casa. Ma passiamo ai piatti forti: l'antipasto toscano è da provare (adoro il patè di fegato); le pappardelle sull'anatra (come dicono a Pistoia) è il primo piatto che preferisco; la bistecca (da almeno 1kg e rigorosamente al sangue) lascia senza fiato. Lasciatevi consigliare sul vino e non ve ne pentirete. Il prezzo (altino) diventa un dettaglio trascurabile.
