20/08/2024: Cozy place, very nice on the outside with tables that have a splendid view of the tourist port. The appetizers we tried were spectacular, both the tuna tartare and the grilled octopus. Among the first courses worthy of note are the paccheri with red prawns, perfect pasta cooking and the freshest raw prawns.
Light background music accompanies dinner, with the staff always discreet and attentive to customer needs.
If you want to spend an evening with your family or with your sweetheart this is a fantastic place. Highly recommended
20/08/2024: I discovered Sapori di Riva by chance because returning from the mid-August holiday I was in the area with my partner and we wanted to have a fish lunch.
I want to say a few more words because the experience was so pleasant that it deserves to be told.
The welcome from Dario, the restaurant manager, was fantastic, he made us sit outside, on a clean, quiet terrace overlooking the bay. He was able to recommend an excellent white to pair with the dishes, we had two starters, tuna tartare and prawns in panko. Very good to say the least.
We continued with two first courses, spaghettone with cicadas and paccheri with red prawns, stracciatella and truffle, strong, unexpected flavours, everything truly delicious, the slipper is a must, with delicious bread, moreover of their own production.
We concluded with a classic tiramisu, and two flavored coffees.
What can I say, when professionalism, quality and goodness of the ingredients come together the experience becomes truly memorable and this was the case for the Sapori di Riva restaurant. Honest bill, proportionate to the quality and quantity of the food.
At the end we also had the pleasure of having a chat with Marco the owner, a delightful person who puts his heart into what he does.
We promised to return to try the fried food (we were too full), it was a pleasure to discover you and we hope to return soon!
