Excellent local house wine, fantastic sea food and excellent service.

Great place, we wend here for lunch and diner. Helpfull staff that does speak good English. Food is great and prices are good.

We ended up here because the chef at our first-chosen restaurant was so rude that we left without eating. However, chance was very, very kind to us. We're absolutely thrilled and have already reserved a table for the next day.

After months, I find myself recommending this restaurant to friends, and I remembered I hadn't left a review in June of this year. I would return to Sardinia just to try that cacio e pepe with shrimp tartare again. Delicious!

We've been here for dinner five times so far on our vacation. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Bar Sardo. The cuisine is simply excellent. Anyone who only eats pizza here hasn't understood Sardinia! The fresh fish, seafood, meat dishes, cheese, and vegetables are absolutely outstanding. I don't usually like desserts, but the Bavarian crema con frutti di bosco even delighted me. As for the fish, we ordered a branzino (sea bass) cooked in a salt crust twice the evening before for the following day. A poem! For the meat, we had a Fiorentina (1 kg T-bone steak). It was better than in Tuscany. Now for the service: the manager, Steff, and her two assistants are attentive and very friendly despite the restaurant being full; people like that are missing in Germany. The quality and the resulting reputation of the restaurant absolutely require a reservation for an evening visit.

Fresh, well-cooked food, excellent value. It's a very popular place, which somewhat detracts from the atmosphere (rather noisy) and the service, which is satisfactory but not always attentive to detail (after dessert, we wanted to try some myrtle liqueur, but we couldn't attract a waitress's attention).

We were pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness and quality of the ingredients. I had a sesame-flavored tuna steak with caramelized Belgian endive, which was truly amazing. My companion had handmade malloreddus with a shellfish sauce, which were equally delicious. For dessert, a classic seada with honey, delicious. The staff were kind and attentive. The service was fast and efficient. I highly recommend it!
