Ristorante Pizzeria Tasso In Sorrento

True Neapolitan pizza. Spectacular site.

Our guide brought us here as it was included in our day tour. We were excited to eat here given the reviews. Our meal lacked value and love, just including the bare minimum.. one shared bruschetta pizza, bolognaise pasta and a frozen cherry dessert. It was nothing special and the dessert absolutely inedible.

The best restaurant in Sorrento for gluten-free we had an amazing time. The stuff and service is amazing and the food 10/10 Highly recommend to visit this restaurant.

Although it qualifies as a 'pizzeria restaurant', going to Tasso to eat pizza, especially for those who are Neapolitan like me, is a mortal sin! The Tasso pizzeria is a complementary element, used by many foreign tourists, to its main activity, the restaurant! As a tour guide I have visited hundreds of restaurants, almost always 'tourist' in the negative sense of the word, but in none have I found such a high standard of quality. The environment is elegant but sober, the staff efficient but not cold, but above all the food, whatever you want to order is of the highest standard. Tasso's cuisine can also be very refined, but it is in the traditional dishes that it truly qualifies as exceptional! Even in a simple bruschetta it is possible to find attention to detail, from spaghetti with clams, to pasta alla Nerano, up to elaborate winter soups, the flavors are unique! And what about the quality of the raw materials, everything, bread, vegetables, dairy products, meat, fish, is of a high standard! In conclusion, it is the only restaurant where I eat better than at home!

The waiters are very kind, and the dishes are served in a very orderly manner. Each meal is exquisite, and the appearance is very detailed. It tastes delicious and worthy of being a recommended restaurant for Red Shrimp.

This place was recommended by our Aloschi Brothers Tour guide. The food was decent as was the service. However, the most irritating part was the server who demanded a tip, which was an obvious manipulation because we are American. It is not the norm to tip here.
