The pizza and restaurant are excellent. The staff are very friendly, and the Roman waitress is fun and friendly. An excellent choice!

A friendly restaurant with excellent food. We visited twice: the first time we ordered two courses, the second time we ordered the "gigante" pizzas—they are truly enormous, delicious, and very reasonably priced. The multi-course meal was also authentic and a delight. The price for ordering multiple courses was also reasonable, especially compared to the more touristy restaurants in the center of Villasimius. The fact that locals eat at Santa Maria speaks volumes. Our dog was also welcome. Advance reservations are recommended. It gets very busy right away when it opens, but things relax later in the evening. Highly recommended!

We highly recommend this restaurant! The pizza marinara, buffalo ragu, prosciutto e funghi, Santa Maria, Sarda, and spaghetti ai frutti di mare were all delicious. As soon as we sat down, olives and bread were placed on the table. Here, the "chef" also asks guests if everything is okay. The value for money is excellent.

Locale veramente carino, prezzi in linea con gli altri ristoranti, la proprietaria molto simpatica, consiglio di prendere il pesce del giorno, he si può scegliere dalla vetrinetta, quindi si può scegliere la grandezza, veramente consigliato!

13/10/2025: A bit hidden away, but fantastic. Beautifully presented, a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere, excellent food, and superb cuisine. To finish, we had a Caffè Corretto San Buco. Absolutely delicious.
08/10/2025: Recommended by a local, this restaurant was a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere is quiet and intimate, perfect for those traveling with children. We were two adults with an 11-month-old baby: the waitress was attentive, helpful, and helped us find dishes suitable for him. We shared an appetizer and a first course, then two second courses (one off the menu) recommended based on seasonality. All the fish dishes were excellent: very fresh, carefully cooked, and truly delicious. The house wine was also excellent. We finished with a homemade seada and a glass of myrtle: a perfect finale. We felt welcomed and at ease, which isn't always a given when traveling with a small, lively child. Excellent food, quality fish, and impeccable service. Highly recommended—and if we return to the area, they'll definitely see us again!
