We stopped in by chance the first time, on a Sunday when we thought no one would be able to give us anything to eat because lunchtime was well past. But with the place still full, they welcomed us warmly. Now, since it's on a route we travel frequently, it's become a go-to spot during the week too, offering quality, home-cooked food at a more than fair price. Congratulations!

Located on the main road to Acqui Terme, this restaurant isn't very large, but it's welcoming and clean (including the bathrooms, which aren't exactly a given). Friendly staff. The menu features both meat and fish dishes, along with a wide selection of pizzas (they also offer takeout), and is also suitable for those with food intolerances and celiac disease. My advice, however, is to eliminate any unavailable dishes, otherwise you risk disappointing more people. Service is efficient and fairly quick. It's a great place to stop for a quick stopover (we didn't try the B&B option).

This place was amazing, welcoming, and best of all! They serve delicious food! The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. Cassine is a beautiful medieval town west to Milan in the province of Alessandria region of Piemonte.

11/11/2025: We booked after seeing the many positive reviews, and I must say it even exceeded our expectations. The appetizers and agnolotti were excellent. The recommended menu also included a main course, but given the generous portions of agnolotti, we didn't make it. The atmosphere is rustic but welcoming, with an old-world feel. From the outside, it doesn't look particularly appealing, but the interior is very well-kept. The owners are friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.
12/10/2025: A homely trattoria in a casual yet clean atmosphere. We had lunch with a group on Sunday. They serve cured meat appetizers, including local cooked salami (very good), and truly tasty tartare, along with various other entrees. We only had two first courses: mushroom risotto (porcini) and truly spectacular agnolotti. Honestly, the second courses would have been too much, so we stopped for the trio of desserts (but I highly recommend the homemade apple and hazelnut cake), with coffee and wine, including water. One of the places I'll definitely return to when I'm in the area again.

26/10/2025: I'll gladly return for the first time. The food was super good and plentiful. The waiters were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
25/10/2025: Today I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary with a part of my family, and we had a wonderful time. The service was fast and perfect, and the dishes were excellent and enjoyed by everyone, including seniors, children, and vegetarians. We'll be back.
